I cherish the relationships I have developed based on trust and confidence with my patients over the years. Realizing that patients often bring to the dental office fear and mistrust, I pride myself on spending extra time listening to the patient in order to identify and overcome these obstacles. I make the effort to educate the patient, so that they can fully understand the benefits of their care and in turn become an active participant in improving their own dental and oral health. With our highly trained staff, I am consistently dedicated to my patients' comfort and satisfaction during their entire dental experience.
After receiving my Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the highly respected Emory University School of Dentistry, Dr. Hart completed a general practice residency at the Medical College of Pennsylvania Hospital. He was on the clinical and teaching faculty of Medical College of Pennsylvania Hospital and University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine for 18 years. He is currently on staff at the Bryn Mawr Hospital in the department of surgery.
By staying current through continuing education courses, Dr. Hart is committed to providing excellence in care by incorporating advanced technology that make dental treatment much more comfortable and simple while still achieving superlative functional and aesthetic results.
When I'm not kept busy with my wife and 3 daughters (the loves of my life), I am golfing, playing guitar, hiking, exercising, travelling, reading, seeing a play or movie, fixing or tinkering with a computer or watching one of our great Philadelphia sports teams.
I love being a dentist! Through my years in hospital and private dental practices I have been able to draw upon all modalities of dentistry to care for my patients. I feel fortunate to have had so many excellent teachers and mentors that have taught me the importance of treating the complete patient. This includes assessing my patient 's medical history, listening to their 'chief complaint' and providing a comprehensive examination enabling me to provide my patient with the optimum treatment options and/or preventative plan. Most importantly I work with an excellent team of dental specialists and know when it is in the best interest of the patient to refer for the best treatment outcome.

Dr. Rose's involvement in a number of continuing education study groups enables him to stay current with the latest advances in cosmetic, implant, and restorative dentistry. It is always his goal to provide the very best treatment options for his patients.
I am an avid gardener (of vegetables and flowers) but feel that my best yield with my wife is my son and daughter. Some might call me a food fanatic. Much of my produce goes into homemade dishes that feed my family and office staff. In order to overcome my overzealous eating, you can find me biking or at the gym daily.

I've been going to the pediatric and adult practice since the age of 3, and I cannot express how much I love this practice! The receptionist staff are always sweet and understanding on the phone and in person! They understand how nervous I get about dentist appointments and they always accommodate! The office is quiet, clean, and well staffed! My review hardly expresses my love and appreciation for this practice! If you're looking for a new dentist, come here! You will not be disappointed! Dr. Hart and his staff are incredibly professional!

Very happy with Devon Dental. Our family has been patients for five years now, so we've experienced everything from cleanings and checkups to fillings and "emergency" repairs. Always great work, responsive, convenient and professional. And nice. Nice matters! Highly recommend.

My husband and I have been going to Devon Dental since we moved here a little over three years ago. We are extremely happy with the level of care we continue to receive from all the staff members. Both dentist Dr. Hart and Dr. Rose are very knowledgeable and go above and beyond to ensure the best care for both my husband and I. The front desk staff always greet you with a warm hello and a friendly face. They are willing to help in any way they can. All the hygienist are very friendly and take their time to ensure excellent care and service. We highly recommend choosing Devon Dental for your dentist!

Dr. Rose and his staff are top notch. If you are looking for a dentist, look no further. From my first phone call to my experience at the office, Dr. Rose and his staff were kind and competent. Dr. Rose took the time to listen and understand my concerns and as a result shaped my teeth instead of encouraging me to get Invisalign (which is not what I wanted). The results were dramatic!!!! I also used the in-office Glo whitening treatment and the results are incredible. Several people have asked me how I keep my teeth so white since the treatment. Dr. Rose is kind, competent, really listens and seeks to put the patient first. Five stars!!!!

Dr Rose and Allen were amazing. I had a sports injury to my teeth on a weekend. They came in on a Sunday morning to help me. They were kind and helpful and made a bad situation SO MUCH better. I can't say enough about Devon Dental and will encourage everyone I know to go here!

I absolutely loved coming to this office for care! I haven't been to the dentist in a long time and was nervous to get checked out-- I had Donna do my cleaning and Amy helped Dr. Rose fill my cavity and they were all incredible! Donna explained what she was doing and why every step of the process and Amy has incredible bedside manner in putting me at ease and making me feel comfortable. I also appreciate Dr. Rose's straight forwardness, he explained the situation thoroughly and effectively in a way that was easy to understand.

Best dental practice in the area. I had the same Dentist for many years but when I moved to this area I had a difficult time finding a good Dentist who was focused on my needs/concerns before their bottom line. For instance 1 Dentist would not provide pain-killer (to save costs) and another had filthy old equipment (kept profits instead of investing in newer equipment). Until I found Devon Dental I was under the impression their were no good Dentists in the Wayne-Villanova area. Devon Dental is concerned about their patients tolerance to pain and good hygiene.
