Dr. Candela attended Dutch Fork High School in Irmo, South Carolina. From there, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Lander University in Greenwood, SC. After serious consideration of her career desires, Dr. Candela and her husband moved to Augusta, Georgia, where she received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University.
Dr. Candela is happily married, and they have two dogs. They are planning to start a family in the near future. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her husband, traveling, finding vegan food dives, hiking, 'glamping' (glamorous camping), walking with their dogs, watching movies, and practicing yoga.

As someone who has a lot of anxiety about doctors, the wonderful individuals that care for you at Devine Dentistry have the somewhat magical ability to make even going to the dentist an enjoyable experience! Dr. Candela is fantastic, and every hygienist I've met here has been friendly, gentle, and more than happy to explain any part of what they're doing or seeing. ...and they play EXCELLENT music.

I absolutely picked the right practice!!! The front desk staff was professional, kind, and helpful. My hygienist was kind, patient, knowledgeable, and very very sweet! And Dr. Candela was the very best dentist I have ever seen. She was patient, very knowledgeable, funny, sweet, understanding, kind and wanted to do (and did do) anything she could to make everything right at my visit! She took the time to explain several things to me as well as answer all of my questions!! This was my 1st appointment with them and I was very impressed and very comfortable. I highly recommend this practice and look forward to being a patient for a very long time! Thank you all so much for taking such good care of me today! I no longer hate going to the dentist!!

Called early on Thursday as I had broke a tooth the night before. Was in the chair at noon and out by 130. Staff is so caring and the doctor is a superstar. Painless, caring and just an amazing dentist. No doubt, this dental practice is one you must bring your family to. Thanks guys.

I suffer from pretty bad dental anxiety and, due to this, neglected my dental health for a while. Last year, one of my teeth broke and I was left with no choice but to find a dentist. Dr. Candela and her team are amazing at what they do. Since starting my journey with her office, I have been able to address my dental issues while feeling very much at ease. She is incredibly nice and there is something about her that is very calming. I would highly recommend her to anyone!

DEVINE Dentistry could not have made a better first impression. Thee location is centrally located in an easily accessible building. The entire staff was upbeat, prompt and memorable. When the Dentist came in she was friendly , kind and shared information readily. What an impressive office with impressive young wioman leading it as the Dentist.
