Originally from Clinton Township, Dr. Kashat received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the prestigious University of Michigan Dental School and completed her dental residency at Jacobi Medical Center in New York.
After 5 years in practice, her favorite aspect of dentistry is not only enhancing the health and quality of life for patients, but seeing them smile confidently after care. Inspired by her mother who is a retired dental hygienist, Jen has held the dental field near and dear to her heart since she was just 4 years old. She has worked alongside Dr. Cirilli for 18 years, beginning as a dental assistant before transitioning to Office Manager.
Not only does Jen have a knack for educating patients on what to expect during the entire treatment process, but she can help walk you through the ins and outs of your insurance plan to make sure you maximize your benefits.
An important part of the team for over 10 years, Ambers favorite part about working alongside Dr. Kashat and Dr. Cirilli is getting to learn new techniques while helping patients feel at ease during their care. Patients rave about how comforting it is to have Amber alongside them during their dental work.
Outside of work, Amber enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband Tyler and bonus daughter, Aubree. Some of their favorite trips have been to Galveston for their honeymoon, Nashville, and Mackinac Island.
With 5 years of experience, Katie's passion for dental hygiene is truly unmatched. Her strength lies in helping patients with proper cleaning techniques and finding what works best for them. She believes that dentistry and prevention is not a one size fits all standard and that there are modifications that can be implemented to cater to each patient.
Outside of work, you can find Katie spending time with her fianc Nick and their labradoodle Nelly. They have lived in Berkley for 4 years and love it! She also enjoys working out and is an avid sports fans -- you can find her and Nick attending all home Michigan football games alongside the rest of the season ticket holders!

The appointment was for my husband. He arrived a few minutes early and his appointment started promptly...no waiting which is important after a long day of work. The work was exactly as explained previously. The staff were extremely friendly and professional, would highly reccomend!

I can't say enough good things about Detroit Dental Co.! They were so thorough, explained everything to me along the way, and took the time to answer all of my questions. Detroit Dental Company does a good job with a tough subject....who enjoys going to the dentist? no one! BUT Detroit Dental Company is changing the narrative in a positive direction. Absolutely love how laid back and welcoming this dental clinic is. The music, the decor, the cleanliness, a haven for a neat freak like me. Katie, the hygienist there, is a joy to be around. Hands light as a feather. Teeth come out squeaky clean every time! Dr Diora is very knowledgeable and also a pleasure to be around.

Katie, who cleaned my teeth did an incredibly thorough job and was excellent in keeping me informed as to what she was doing. She explained in detail what problems I had with photos of each area.

I love coming to this office for all my dental needs! Dr. Kashat was great with my treatment. I loved the staff at the office as well and I felt very welcomed! The office had a great environment! I highly recommend coming to this dental office if you are looking for a new dentist.

They did a fantastic job. If I had a question they would answer it and let me know what is going on in my mouth and way to get some stuff fixed. I'll be in for a deep clean in the next few week but now I'm excited and not nervous of the dentist now.

Dr. Kashat and her team at the Detroit Dental Company changed my life. I was always grinding my teeth and was self conscious about my teeth. A solution was given to me when I went in for consultation and I'm so happy I was able to get the smile of of my dreams. The process was simple when I had my temporary crowns until I received the permanent crowns. The temporary crowns were great because I didn't feel like I needed to hide my teeth. By the end of my treatment, all my missing teeth were replaced, I eat better, and I feel confident with my smile. I feel better and I appreciate the hard work that was put in my treatment! This office knows how to take great care!

Dr. Kashat is simply amazing! She has helped to make my smile perfect with Invisalign and addressed my long time clenching issue by providing me with Botox in my jaw which has taken all my pain and headaches away! She is very knowledgeable and makes me feel so comfortable at every visit. The team is all so friendly and amazing! This is an amazing dental office.
