Dr. Christine Gudas grew up on a small farm and graduated high school from Winamac, Indiana. She then attended Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN for four years receiving her bachelors of science. After her undergraduate studies, Dr. Gudas completed her degree of dental surgery at Indiana University School of Dentistry in May 2007. Dr Gudas has owned and practiced in cedar Lake since 2009. She enjoys the small town feel of this great community and is excited about the upcoming development and growth of the area. In her spare time, Dr. Gudas loves spending time traveling with her family. She and her husband, Dr. David Reed have one child, Maddox. Dr Gudas also enjoys raising and showing horses.
Brenda is our Office Manager here at Detailed Dental. She loves to greet our patients with a smile & will help them reach their dental goals in any way she can. Brenda went to college at Illinois State University where she studied Special Education & played Softball for the college. After raising three sons Brenda decided to get into the dental field in 2005. Her Hobbies consist of sports, traveling & most importantly, spending time with her family & good friends!
Alyssa is one of the skilled and knowledgeable dental hygienists at Detailed Dental. She began working in the dental field in 1993 as a dental receptionist, and then furthered her education at IUPUI in Indianapolis, Indiana. She graduated with a degree in Dental Hygiene in 1996 from Indiana University School of Dentistry. She joined the Detailed Dental team in 2009. Alyssa takes great pride in providing stellar patient care in a relaxed, gentle environment. Some of her leisure activities include spending time with family and friends, traveling and home improvements.

I was a new patient excited to try a new dentist, she aka Dr never introduced herself. Looked at my xrays and told me I needed serious work to the point of implants or dentures. I was so upset and felt confused by this dx. I go to the dentist at least once a year and been w the same dentist for 15 yrs....Her diagnosis was incorrect and another dentist confirmed that her dx was way off....So she had a terrible bedside manner and was definitely trying to put alot of extra money where it wasn't needed...It's a shame please beware of the unnecessary dental work...Shame on her for trying to rip off patients

First the good part: The office staff and dentist are super nice and seem to care...however I would look elsewhere if you have cavities. I had 3 "cavities" filled (by the way 6 months before that at another dentist I had no cavities. When I came here I had 7????). They were all on teeth next to each other. I figured why not get them all filled at the same time. That was a bad idea. The dentist basically drilled out a trench in all of my back teeth. The worst part is that after a year, I still can't chew on that side. My teeth are also misaligned now. I went back about 5 times. She didn't understand what I was saying about my teeth being mess up. Eventually by the 6 th time, she called and told me she couldn't help me and cancelled my appointment. I have since gone somewhere else but like I said, my teeth are still messed up. The fact that they wouldn't help me or explain what happened is the worst part. I would not recommend this dentist.

My wife and I have been seeing Detail Dental over the last two years working on getting our dental health caught up. This office is awesome, from the staff and dental hygienist to the doctor everyone is kind and personable. The employees and doctors love what they do and you can tell by how the office runs to how they take care of their patients. If you have been fearful of going to the dentist I suggest calling them and also tell them about your previous experience and they will take great care of you.

My dentist retired and at the same time I had an abscess start. They got me in & dealt with the issue right away as a new patient.

Staff is always friendly and prompt. Have been going there probably 10 or more years. Facility is clean and up to date on the latest equipment. Very very pleased and will continue to go there.

WOW! I am forever grateful! I live in Niles, MI, and was in town for a week visiting my kids, and in dire need of an HONEST opinion from a dentist regarding my upper denture--reline or replace due to massive weight loss. My daughter sings nothing but high praises about Dr. Gudas, so I called 2 weeks before my trip and Brenda was kinda enough find a way to get me in while in town. Most dentists I've encountered right off the bat said new dentures before booking an appointment. Dr. Gudas honestly thought a reline would work; and, even though I was a quick add-on appointment, she was kind enough to work in the reline, as well! THEY FIT LIKE A GLOVE-- no adhesive needed--better than when I received them brand new (and they were not cheap dentures)!! Dr. Gudas is my dentist now ... Niles isn't that far! Can't wait to take care of my bottoms! Amazing work ... integrity.

I really love my Dentist Christine and her staff. They are always cheerful and very nice. The office is very beautiful and always clean. I mentioned the last time I was there that there wasn't a hook in the bathroom to hang your purse or coat on. Today when I went there, Christine had put a lovely table in the restroom for coats and purses. How thoughtful of her to do that! Thank you so much. If your looking for a very good dentist and friendly staff, Christine is the dentist to see. Thank you guys! My teeth are clean and shinny!
