Dr. Chisler graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry and has chosen to continue his dental education by obtaining additional training in dental implants, permanent dentures, Invisalign, single visit crowns and bridges, TMJ, and sleep apnea. Dr. Chisler loves the outdoors. If hes not working out at the gym, hes probably doing something outside. When patients ask him, Why Dentistry? He responds, To me, Dentistry is the perfect profession. I have the ability to work with my hands, stimulate my mind, solve patients problems, and learn something new from people that come from all different backgrounds each and every day I come to the office.
Dr. Chisler and his wonderful wife, Dr. Sara, purchased the practice from Dr. Spandau in September of 2019 and renamed it Detail Dental. Together, they have 6 children: Taylor, Riane, Averi, Anna, Ashley, and AJ. They spend the majority of their time going back and forth between games, musicals, recitals, wedding planning (5 daughters), and of course continuing education.
Dr. Carolynn Spandau graduated from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1983. Dr. Spandau has a love for people, which is evident by the quality of her work. She works relentlessly to make sure each and every patient receives the quality care they deserve. Constantly learning, Dr. Spandau has a wealth of knowledge that spans nearly every aspect of our profession. Every minute that she spends in the practice is another opportunity for all of us to grow and develop as clinicians. She is a true asset to the practice and dentistry as a whole.
Dr. Sara Viernes graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2002. Her career in dentistry has led her to opportunities to practice among children, young adults, and very timid adults. She has completed a fellowship in Inter-professional Health education, graduate studies in health informatics, and utilized her clinical practice to assist in publishing research on health informatics. She is a current associate at Peyton Manning Childrens Hospital with the cranio-facial team, and enjoys the challenging aspects of interdisciplinary collaboration. Dr. Sara has recently completed her training through Tufts University School of Dentistry in Dental Sleep Medicine.
