Dr. Dhara Shah is a graduate of the New Jersey Dental School, now known as Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. During dental school, she was involved in doing research in the department of restorative dentistry and oral biology. Besides mentoring her fellow juniors, she volunteered in community outreach programs such as Give Kids a Smile and Special Olympics.
After completing a general practice residency at Montefiore, Dr. Shah worked at private practice in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Maryland before moving back to her home town in New Jersey. Her residency and private practice opportunities have greatly expanded her experience in treating patients of all ages and extending her knowledge to the community. She continues to focus on staying up to date with technologies and techniques through continuing education courses for the delivery of quality dental care.
Being a huge philosopher of prevention is better than cure, Dr. Shah always educates and encourages her patients to practice good oral care. Recognizing that each patient is a unique individual, who has placed a great deal of trust in her, Dr. Shah is dedicated to building and valuing each patient relationship. She is passionate about general dental awareness and believes that patients should not only receive the best treatment possible, but that they must also be educated on how to take good care of their oral health.
Dr. Dhaval Vithlani is a graduate of New York University College of Dentistry. After graduation, Dr. Vithlani served the community of Hampden County in Massachusetts and Charles County in Maryland before he finally decided to move to the state New Jersey with his family. His patients often refer to him as Dr. V.
Dr. Vithlanis passion for dentistry grew as he watched his fathers dedication in improving oral health of the community. Dr. Vithlani takes pride in not just being able to help improve patients oral health, but their overall quality of life. Dr. Vithlani believes in listening to each and every patient carefully and building a dentist-patient relationship to maintain and improve lifelong health. He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry. And to ensure that all patients receive the best comprehensive care possible.
Dr Vithlani is an active member of American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association and Middlesex County Dental Society Dr. V constantly participates in continuing education courses. He is certified in biological dentistry by American College of Biocompatible health and also trained to remove amalgam fillings under holistic protocol by International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology.
Lourdes has been a dental hygienist for 26 years. She started her career as a dental assistant 12 years prior to pursuing the hygiene program. She enjoys interacting with the patients and educating them on individualized preventive oral health care needs.
