Dr. Thomas J. DeStefano has been practicing dentistry for over 30 years and has been in his own practice since 1996 in Pittsford, New York. Dr. DeStefano specializes in family and cosmetic dentistry. He uses his continuous learning to implement the latest techniques and technology within his practice.
Dr. DeStefano and the team at DeStefano Dentistry focus on TMJ treatment, implants, sleep apnea treatment and more! Dr. DeStefano is a member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association, Monroe County Dental Society and the International Association of Physiologic Aesthetics. In addition, Dr. DeStefano is a Six Month Smiles short-term orthodontic provider.
Education Dr. DeStefano is a graduate of Gannon University and holds a Bachelor of Science in chemistry. He achieved his dental degree through the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine as well as completing a General Practice Residency at the Genesee Hospital in Rochester, New York.
Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI-Trained Dentist) Most recently he has completed the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies Core Curriculum series and earned the distinction of LVI Fellowship, which is awarded only to doctors who successfully completed all seven core courses and pass a comprehensive exam. This commitment distinguishes Dr. DeStefano for his dedication to providing quality care and a desire to master complex procedures in order to provide the best comprehensive care for his dental patients.

Stephanie is a dental hygienist, working in the dental field for over 21 years. She began her career as a dental assistant and began in hygiene following her graduation in 2002 from Monroe Community College. She loves educating her patients and helping them to love their smile. Stephanie resides in Victor with her two children.
Ashley has been in the dental field for over eight years. She started her career as a dental assistant and graduated from Monroe Community College with a degree in dental hygiene in 2021. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and spending time with her family and friends.
Emily is certified by the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) and is licensed by New York State. She has been in the dental field for over 10 years. Emily also went through the Las Vegas Institute for Advance Dental Studies (LVI) Core Curriculum. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family and visiting Cape Cod annually. Emily resides in Rochester with her fianc and her dog, Dimples.
Alysha is certified by the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) and received dental assistant training at BOCES. She attended Keuka College as a bio-med major. She has had a passion to be in the dental field since she was a child. Her favorite things to do are kayaking and hiking.
Ingrid was born in the Caribbean. She studied business administration, and she has been working in the dental field for over 12 years now. She is bilingual and speaks Spanish. In her free time, she loves to go camping, enjoys hiking and playing volleyball with her daughter.

We have been patients of Dr. DeStefano for many years and are very pleased with the practice. We have actually had our dental hygienist Diane since we were toddlers and will follow her until she retires! Early morning appointments have been a life saver with busy schedules. Cannot recommend the practice more!

I have been seeing Dr.DeStefano for years. Always happy with him and his team. Diane is very gentle and understanding when performing cleanings and x-rays. Emily is amazing when you need a filling or extraction done. She makes what can be a stressful and anxiety inducing procedure much more comfortable. Dr. DeStefano and his team always make sure you are comfortable and well taken care of.

Dr DeStefano and his office staff are top notch! My family has been going here for as long as I can remember and also I convinced 3 friends to go to Dr DeStefano! I recently had extensive work done and as a very anxious dental patient they always make me feel so comfortable and a little less nervous. I have called with emergencies in the past and I always get right in! I love all the girls that work there too- they are so sweet!

I have been a patient of Dr DeStefano's since 2006. They are always incredibly caring and thorough. Over the years, I have worked with the dentistry to keep my teeth aligned and beautiful. I recently went through the Dentistry to help me deal with my snoring and sleep apnea. (I had previously spent a lot of money on over the counter and online fixes - which did not really work.) After an in-home sleep study, and a few visits to get properly fitted, I have an appliance that has pretty much eliminated my snoring (I'm told) and sleep much better. My smile is a huge part of who I am and I am so glad that I can trust DeStefano Dentistry with it!

Dr. DeStefano and his team are extremely professional and excellent at what they do. Dr. DeStefano has taken care of myself and my entire extended family for many years. We have had regular cleanings as well as root canals, new teeth put in and fillings. Everyone is completely satisfied with the work that we have had done in our mouths. He has well trained and friendly assistants that help him make the entire experience wonderful. He most recently completed a filling for me. It took less than half an hour to complete.
