Dr. Nagao earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from The Ohio State University graduating first in his class clinically.While in Ohio he received advanced surgical training working with a prominent oral surgeon. Dr. Nagao has a passion for dentistry and it shows!He is particularly passionate for dental surgery including implant placements, sedation dentistry and complex reconstructions. Dr. Nagao is a faculty member and mentor at Implant Pathways which focuses entirely on the surgical placement of dental implants. Dr. Nagao has also been selected as a Top Dentist in Tucson by his peers. Dr. Nagao loves the personal relationship he builds with each patient and values their trust in him.

Dr. Nagao is beyond skilled. The entire practice is clean, comfortable, caring and accommodating! I have a huge fear of the dentist from past experience and Dr. Nagao put all of those fears away. He is honest and will explain everything in detail with care! Look no further this is should be your go to dentist if you live in Tucson!

Dr. Josh is one of kind! I love my new teeth and smile. I can't believe it, I'm still processing everything. I can't thank doctor Josh enough! He's truly amazing! Amazing is an understatement. I have been looking for a dental practice for several years, and I am happy to say that I believe I have found that practice at Designer Dental with Dr. Nagao. The staff at Designer Dental is extremely friendly, courteous and professional. They attend to every detail. Deborah was my dental hygienist, and she was suburb! Throughout the teeth cleaning process she explained things to me and made recommendations to help me better care for my teeth. Dr. Nagao was both personable, knowledgeable, and professional. He put me totally at ease and listened to my concerns. I am excited and confident to continue my dental care with Designer Dental.

Everyone was very professional, polite and helpful. My appointment started on time. I appreciated the COVID19 precautions that were in place to assure my safety as well as the staff. I also enjoy the beautiful views from the windows in the dental examining rooms. They are very relaxing. They even have a person taking care of the bird feeders. A very nice touch. A pleasant surprise.

I had a crown fall off earlier this week and when I called the next morning they were able to get me in for crown cementation that morning. Dr. Nagao and staff are always professional and perform top notch procedures. I have found my forever dental office.
