Dr. Romay graduated from Pontifical Mother and Child in Dominican Republic in 1993 with a D.D.S. and in 1995 earned a D.M. D. degree from Boston University ( Goldman School of Dentistry ). In the past, he has donated his time and experience at Lindsey Hopkins providing dental care to the needy.
He has also lectured at local schools and community school meetings to educate in maintaining oral health. He earned his Implantology certification in 2002 and is a current member of ICOI for Implantology . He is also a member of the Florida Dental Society , Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry , Local Study Clubs and American Dental Society .
Dr. Romay earned his Invisalign Certification in 2000 and has kept current with the continuing education requirements by attending annual national dental conventions. Dr. Romay keeps current with all advances in dentistry and the latest in technology by Internet and publications.
Dr Martha Barrera was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia later immigrating to Miami, Fl in 1988. Dr Barrera graduated from Colombia Dental College in 1981 with a D.D.S. degree and revalidated her degree in the USA in 1997.
Although she is a General Dentist, she also provides services in Endodontics, Prosthodontics and Oral Surgery. She has continuously provided dental care for the underprivileged for over 18 years at Florida Institute for Advanced Dental Education .
She is a member of the American Dental Association , Ceola Hello and Volunteer Faculty Florida Institute keeping herself updated with all advances in dentistry by taking courses. Dr. Barrera is continuing her education requirements by attending dental conventions, publications and internet technology.
After fleeing from my native country where I was a Dentist, I moved to the United States earning my Registered Hygienist degree. It is of great importance to me to inform our patients the importance of Oral Hygiene. On my spare time I enjoy spending it with my husband & son as well as traveling.
Originally from Cuba where I was a Dentist and later moved to the USA where I became a Registered Hygienist. I Strive to ensure our patients always feel 100% informed. There's nothing more gratifying to me then educating our patients. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my son, mother and pet Nala.
Ive been in the dental field for 25 years, and the most important lesson Ive learned that you cant do it alone, it takes team work to accomplish great things and that's what I have with my team. When away from the office, I enjoy my time with my husband, children & grandchildren. My favorite place to be is the ocean where I find serenity and peace.
I started my dental career as a Dental Assistant with expanded duties and I'm currently the Assistant Office Manager. I enjoy the team I work with and feel lucky to be able to build relationships with patients. On my days off I like spending time with my pet Princess, going out with friends and traveling.
Graduated from Compu-Med Vocational Careers as a Dental Assistant with expanded duties. My favorite part of assisting is seeing the change cosmetic dentistry brings to our patients. I enjoy spending time with my husband and also like gardening & traveling.

Later, i consulted another dentist and she told that she could not determine if I had any deep pocket without taking x-rays, especially since my teeth where still moving, since I had braces on. 2. One of my teeth crowns fell, so I went to put a new crown in this office. Dr. Ricardo told me that there was no room for the new crown and i needed to have my orthodontist to make room for this new crown. I consulted my orthodontist and another dentist and both told me that there was plenty of room for the new crown. 3. I told Dr. Ricardo that I wanted my teeth whiten after I removed my braces, he told me that my teeth will never be white, but will always remain gray. This is the first time I have ever heard from a dentist
