Dr. Manisha Javia was born in Ohio and grew up in Michigan. She attended Michigan State University where she completed her studies within three years. Dr. Javia attended University of Michigan dental school. University of Michigan is considered one of the top five dental universities in the United States.
Dr. Javia enjoys many aspects of her practice, but especially those in which she is able to enhance a patients confidence and physical appearance via Cosmetic Dentistry. By utilizing the most current technology and materials available, Dr. Javia is able to combine meticulous skills and years of experience with the most current clinical advancements. Dr. Javia attends many hours of continuing education seminars every year to keep up with the latest technology and techniques.
Dr. Javia is a faculty member with Spear Education at the beautiful Scottsdale Center for Dentistry. There she mentors other dentists from around the country and world. She is a proud member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), American Dental Association, Arizona Dental Association, and Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics.
Dr. Javia is in the fullest sense, a family dentist. Good oral health translates into general well being. She believes that patient education gives her patients the knowledge necessary to make informed, intelligent decisions regarding their dental health.
Dr. Javia and her team are dedicated to giving back to the community. Dr. Javia is part of a program with the AACD called Give Back a Smile. The program is dedicated to providing cosmetic dental care at no cost to survivors of domestic violence. This program gives survivors hope for a better tomorrow. Dr. Javia and her hygienists have also been part of a program called ACT. This program allows for low income families to bring their kids in for a checkup and provide fluoride care to help decrease the rate of decay.
Dr. Smith received his biology degree from Valparaiso University in Indiana. He graduated from the University of Michigan Dental School and has been practicing in the Valley since 1997. Voted by Phoenix Magazine as one of the Top Dentists in 2004 and 2007, Dr Smith is a Member of the American Dental Association, The Arizona Dental Association, and the West Valley Study Club. Dr. Smith also is a faculty member at Spear Education, a facility that provides advanced training to dentists around the world.
Dr. Smiths philosophy is to treat each patient as though they are a member of his family. Patient Education is a priority with Dr. Smith as he believes that if his patients understand the importance of dental care, they will understand the impact that good oral health has on their general well being.
Appreciating the fact that his patients time is valuable, Dr. Smith has changed the traditional method of providing crowns and onlays. He is considered a CEREC Specialist in Arizona. Dr. Smith is able to complete restorative procedures in one visit. Utilizing CAD Software and an on-site milling machine, Dr. Smith can restore form and functionality to your tooth within one hour.
Certified in Invisalign Orthodontics, Dr. Smith has the ability to offer orthodontic treatment to his patients without banding. Ideal for adults as well as children, Invisalign offers an alternative to braces, utilizing clear trays which gently move the teeth to the desired position.
As cosmetic Dentistry encompasses many phases of dentistry from bleaching to veneers, Dr. Smith is constantly increasing his knowledge of the latest techniques and the most current products. Dr. Wardian graduated from the University of Washington School of Dentistry. He came to Arizona from Washington in 2019 and is a huge Seattle Seahawks fan! He loves to travel, enthusiastically enjoys soccer, and prides himself on his cooking. He always welcomes recommendations on new foods and fun hiking trails!
With a wife and two daughters, Dr. Wardian understands how important family is. He is dedicated to providing you with the highest quality care thinks the best compliment is a personal referral. His skilled expertise, sense of humor, and personable demeanor all contribute to his goal of putting even the most nervous patients at ease.
Dr. Alex Wardian is a life-long learner and is committed to continuously develop his skills and build his knowledge. Some of his favorite specialities include advanced implants, root canal therapy, and esthetic reconstruction.

I've been going to Desert Vista Dental for over 20 years. The staff has always been very nice and welcoming. Dr. Javia is a great dentist. She always gives me the best care and keeps my mouth healthy! I will be a life long patient of Desert Vista Dental.

I absolutely love Desert Vista Dental North. I've seen both Dr. Javia and Dr. Smith and can say they are both incredible providers. They truly care for their patients and make you feel welcome, cared for, and at ease. Recently I got my teeth cleaned by Emily, who has quickly become my favorite dental hygienist. She told me why she did certain things, which I loved, and made me feel like I was just catching up with an old friend, rather than sitting at the dentist. Overall, I had a great experience. I couldn't recommend Desert Vista Dental North or their providers more!

I have been a patient at this very caring office since I moved here 6 years !I am so thankful I found dr Javia and her very professional staff I also love the hygienist there Emily ! She is so lovely and my teeth have never felt cleaner or looked this good after my appointments!

What a wonderful experience at a dentists office! I came with many questions, concerns, and I am highly HIGHLY sensitive to....well, everything. Everyone was so pleasant to work with! They were very knowledgeable, and they listened to, and addressed every concern I had. It was clean, and I was comfortable. Both my hubby and I have been here many times since and everyone has been consistently pleasant, helpful, and easy to work with. VERY Highly recommended!!!

I have previously had bad experiences at the dentist and never enjoy going. Yesterday Kaylee was so patient and very reassuring. She explained everything she was doing before doing it, which eased my nerves a lot. She definitely made me feel less nervous about going back. Best experience I've had yet!!

Desert Vista Dental was a great find. From my first contact with Emily, I noticed a different level of professionalism and genuine attention to detail. The level of service and care continued with Tyler, tasked with my cleaning. If you are at all squeamish, he's your guy. Finally, needing some extensive dental work done, I was apprehensive, to say the least. I appreciated Matt Smith, DDS taking his time to understand all the needs I had structurally but also cosmetic. The result was a great care plan that resulted in a lifelong patient.

I've been a patient of Dental Vista Dental for approximately 8 years now. The entire staff are professional, knowledgeable, polite and punctual! Each time I go into or call the office, I receive nothing but excellent care and or service! I highly recommend Dental Vista Dental!!!

It is very unusual that a dentist makes you feel welcome when you have a problem but Desert Vista Dental did. It is very usual that a dentist exaggerates their capabilities BUT under delivers but Desert Vista Dental over delivers both on quality, capability and professionalism especially Dr Alex Wardian. He has the unusual characteristic of a dentist in that truly cares about his patients. I can highly recommend both Desert Dental and Dr. Wardian

I love Desert Vista. They use the newest methods and technologies available for dental work, have a smooth, efficient, communicative office, and the hygienists are very knowledgable about what they do. They are very informed, professional, and highly competent. The doctors are great, too!

Jodi is the best! I have been to a lot of hygienists over the years but it wasn't until Jodi started taking care of my teeth that I my mouth is actually healthy again. She's offered insights and suggestions that have wholesale changed my mouth health. In addition, as a heavy coffee drinker I figured I was doomed to permanent stains, but every visit Jodi takes great pride in getting "every little spot" and sends me on my way with a great, white smile. Thank you Jodi! I can't say enough good things about Dr. Javia as well. She is a perfectionist with dental work and definitely an expert in her field. I honestly can't tell the difference between my natural teeth and those that she has capped or filled. I couldn't be more happy that I found this office and highly recommend it!

I have been coming here for over a decade. Dr. Smith and his hygienists are phenomenal, and even as I've switched insurance and moved over the years, I keep coming back. If you are in the business for a new dentist, I very highly recommend him.
