Pamela M. Kaminski, DMD, grew up in Red Bank, New Jersey. She received her undergraduate degree in Dental Hygiene from the Medical College of Georgia where she was awarded for her efforts in Public Health and Community Dentistry. Next, she earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine and was recognized in the field of Oral Pathology. In 2019 Dr. Kaminski received the highest award bestowed upon Alumni, the Alumni Award of Honor, for her contributions to her college, community and industry. Furthering her education and career, she completed a 2-year residency specializing in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She prioritizes continuing education to stay on top of advances in Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Kaminski's professional affiliations include: Diplomate, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry/Fellowship Status, Special Care Dentistry Association/Fellowship Status, Arizona Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Western Society of Pediatric Dentistry, American Association of Persons with Disabilities, American Dental Association and Healthy Smiles, Healthy Children Leadership Circle Donor.
Dr. Kaminski demonstrates a profound interest and passion for treating patients with special health care needs throughout her training and years of practice and is a Fellow of the Special Care Dentistry Association. In an effort to raise awareness and increase access to care for this vulnerable population of patients, Dr. Kaminski became the Benefactor of the 'Dr. Pamela M. Kaminski Center for Special Care Dentistry' at her Alma Mater, the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Kaminski is happy to utilize her knowledge and education serve the dental needs of the children of Tucson with Desert Vista Pediatric Dentistry and she looks forward to meeting you soon! In her free time, Dr. Kaminski enjoys traveling, hiking, gardening and animals. She cares for her horses, dogs and cats on her Tucson ranch with her husband

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN TO THIS PLACE! This office is incompetent & can not be trusted to properly take care of your child's dental health. If I could give them zero or negative stars I would. The only reason they have 1 star is because it wouldn't let me post without it. My son had an appointment there and from first stepping foot in the office I knew that this would be my sons last visit. The staff was not friendly and welcoming at all. They looked and acted as if they did not want to do &/or like their jobs. They were extremely soft spoken & to me it seemed like every staff member was not confident in the job that they were fulfilling. They didn't clean his teeth, only put fluoride in his mouth & because of his age he wouldn't sit still for x-rays so they didn't do those either. They dentist came to evaluate my son & within 30 mins from stepping foot in the office & we were headed out the door. The doctor informed and showed me that my son had cavities that needed to be treated & how he would treat them & to stop by the front desk on my way out so they could make the appointment. I later on had to call to reschedule my sons appointment for a later date & to my surprise they had no record of him needing to be treated for cavities. In the words of the receptionist "the person charting that day must have forgotten to enter the info in his chart!" Now they want me to bring him in to have him "reevaluated" & I don't trust that this office will correctly do their jobs because they clearly couldn't handle it the first time around. This is such an inconvenience because not only do I have to find him a new reliable & trustworthy dentist but we will also have to go through the trouble of scheduling an appointment to have him reevaluated & then another appointment to actually get treated when this was already supposed to be taken care of. I am thankful that they didn't work on my child's teeth because if they can't do something as simple as charting the visit how could I ever trust that they will fix his cavities correctly. This is your warning, if you prefer a place that does their jobs correctly, has great customer service, & are reliable & trustworthy, this is NOT the office to come to!

Desert Valley Pediatric exceed my expectations. I have had bad experience in the past and when I came here I though it would be the same but it was completly different. My kids love it & feel more comfortable going every time they have their check ups. I would really recommeneded to any one that is looking for a good dentist for their kids, I would say to come here this is the place. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

The staff was very courteous and respectful. Dr. Dan was kind, honest and did very good work. My child had 4 teeth pulled and didn't even need Tylenol for pain. I will take my kids there again!

This is a great dentist my son needed eight caps one extraction and six nerve treatments. He was well taken care of his teeth look great feel great they are good with keeping you informed with what's going on and of the appointment prior to the day definitely recommend

I've never sat at a dentist office so long seems to me like they over book.. which equals greedy.! 2 hours yea that's ridiculous other than that everyone was friendly.!

I am extremely grateful to the staff and Dentist at Desert Valley Pediatric Dentistry for their attention with my daughter. She fell down and chipped both her front teeth and I tried to get an appointment with other dentists around my area and they were all booked. I called this office and they saw her the same day and took care of her fillings. My daughter can now smile and feels confident in going back to school next month. I am extremely grateful for their assistance with my daughter's issue. Thank you so much, I will now bring all 3 of my little ones to this Dental Office exclusively. I highly recommend them!
