Pamela M. Kaminski, DMD, grew up in Red Bank, New Jersey. She received her undergraduate degree in Dental Hygiene from the Medical College of Georgia where she was awarded for her efforts in Public Health and Community Dentistry. Next, she earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine and was recognized in the field of Oral Pathology. In 2019 Dr. Kaminski received the highest award bestowed upon Alumni, the Alumni Award of Honor, for her contributions to her college, community and industry. Furthering her education and career, she completed a 2-year residency specializing in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She prioritizes continuing education to stay on top of advances in Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Kaminski's professional affiliations include: Diplomate, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry/Fellowship Status, Special Care Dentistry Association/Fellowship Status, Arizona Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Western Society of Pediatric Dentistry, American Association of Persons with Disabilities, American Dental Association and Healthy Smiles, Healthy Children Leadership Circle Donor.
Dr. Kaminski demonstrates a profound interest and passion for treating patients with special health care needs throughout her training and years of practice and is a Fellow of the Special Care Dentistry Association. In an effort to raise awareness and increase access to care for this vulnerable population of patients, Dr. Kaminski became the Benefactor of the 'Dr. Pamela M. Kaminski Center for Special Care Dentistry' at her Alma Mater, the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Kaminski is happy to utilize her knowledge and education serve the dental needs of the children of Tucson with Desert Vista Pediatric Dentistry and she looks forward to meeting you soon! In her free time, Dr. Kaminski enjoys traveling, hiking, gardening and animals. She cares for her horses, dogs and cats on her Tucson ranch with her husband

This office is simply the worse and has no consideration for a persons time. I have been going to this office since my kids first appointment they are now 6 and 7 and multiple times they have us come in a certain time just to wait an hour to be called back. Never an apology, parents sometimes have to take time off of work, kids out of school to make these appointments and to be met with no consideration is simply not good customer service. We also will have appointments and are never met with the same advise or one dentist will say our daughter needs her tooth worked on then when we come back another one will say there is no reason for that just keep an eye on it. They have stated some dentist there do not see eye on eye on patient care so no consistency. I do not review bomb after on bad experience there has been multiple experiences and I am simply fed up. I tried called right now and was put on hold then they just hung up, I spoke so no one so there was no heated argument simply no one picking up phones.

I'll be finding my son another dentist. You wait until the DAY BEFORE MY SONS appointment to tell me you won't be seeing him for an appointment YOU MADE ME MAKE FOR HIM. Extremely unprofessional on your end.

I have taken my 5 Children for a year now. We have always had a pleasant experience with the front desk receptionists to the staff who do the cleaning and the dentists.

My first time going to this office was a couple of weeks ago, I left the other practice because the Dr was very impatient with my daughter. They were absolutely amazing here. They were able to fit my children on the schedule right away and they were extremely patient with my unruly daughter. I was feeling defeated and embarrassed by her behavior. Dr. Umar stepped out and was was very polite and patient with her,I will definitely be returning. The staff was amazing and extremely patient as well.

The office is always busy which means the waiting room is crowded. When I was there the bathroom lights were not working. Dr. Umer is great with the children and the staff is friendly as well.

I've been taking my kids here for four years now and I cannot say enough good things. The staff is incredibly friendly and they are always so thorough and sweet with my kids. I appreciate them explaining to my kids what they're doing each step of the way, helping them remain calm and comfortable. Everyone is professional and is able to answer any questions or concerns I may have. Highly recommend!!
