Pamela M. Kaminski, DMD, grew up in Red Bank, New Jersey. She received her undergraduate degree in Dental Hygiene from the Medical College of Georgia where she was awarded for her efforts in Public Health and Community Dentistry. Next, she earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine and was recognized in the field of Oral Pathology. In 2019 Dr. Kaminski received the highest award bestowed upon Alumni, the Alumni Award of Honor, for her contributions to her college, community and industry. Furthering her education and career, she completed a 2-year residency specializing in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She prioritizes continuing education to stay on top of advances in Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Kaminski's professional affiliations include: Diplomate, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry/Fellowship Status, Special Care Dentistry Association/Fellowship Status, Arizona Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Western Society of Pediatric Dentistry, American Association of Persons with Disabilities, American Dental Association and Healthy Smiles, Healthy Children Leadership Circle Donor.
Dr. Kaminski demonstrates a profound interest and passion for treating patients with special health care needs throughout her training and years of practice and is a Fellow of the Special Care Dentistry Association. In an effort to raise awareness and increase access to care for this vulnerable population of patients, Dr. Kaminski became the Benefactor of the 'Dr. Pamela M. Kaminski Center for Special Care Dentistry' at her Alma Mater, the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Kaminski is happy to utilize her knowledge and education serve the dental needs of the children of Tucson with Desert Vista Pediatric Dentistry and she looks forward to meeting you soon! In her free time, Dr. Kaminski enjoys traveling, hiking, gardening and animals. She cares for her horses, dogs and cats on her Tucson ranch with her husband

The whole team at Desert Valley is wonderful!!! My daughter needed an emergency appointment, and they got her right in! They were so kind and quick, even being busy. Everyone there is so kind and great with the kids!

Wish I could give no stars . I took my son for a cleaning And the lady who did his appointment was just so rude didn't try to explain anything or even try to make him comfortable. Just recently went for a limited exam and the lady who took my sons X-rays was beyond rude. She slammed the shield at him said sit down so rudely. And hit my son in the face with the actual machine. When I told her it was the wrong side that they took the X-rays on she responded to me with well which side is it then with a heavy tone. Clearly if you can't make a kid feel comfortable at a place that they are probably already afraid to go to then clearly this career isn't for you.

Was able to get dental appointment for my kids next day. Very polite and courteous. The staff took their time when cleaning my kids teeth. They answered my questions as well as the questions of my kids. Two of my kids are autistic and the staff and dentist were very soft spoken and safe with my kids they did what was best for them. They took their feelings into consideration before just doing the work. Both dentist who seen my one son and my twins who are autistic were nothing but gentle and kind!!
