So far so good. Only had one appointment, but they took me in last min for a tooth extraction and that definitely says a lot about a office.

I am not a fan of the dentist, normally. Yesterday I had the most fabulous experience at Desert Valley Dental. I have a bad tooth and everyone I spoke with or saw was so friendly and understanding. Not only did they work with my fears but... EDIT/UPDATE So, this review was written after my cleaning, before my crowns. They give a discount for a good google review. The experience was horrible, the x-ray pads cut into my mouth and I was told I had bite down anyway. They take x-rays every 30 minutes it seemed like. My mouth was hamburger. At one point one of the many different dentists (how many work there? I saw at least 4, or the inside of my mouth did) a dentist drilling flew off my tooth and hit the inside of my jaw and said, "wow, that was weird, that's not supposed to happen" after Dr arrogance finshed one root canal, I told him I could still feel nerve pain up into my jaw and to my ear. He said, "Do you want me to finish?" Um really??? Total disregard for my issue. The crowns are both ill fitting a food slips between them and the next tooth on every meal. FYI I have found you can over floss. It's a nightmare. Now, after maxing out my insurance AND paying 1700 in cash, they want 1200 more. Their estimate was off. I find this out from bills they have sent me demanding the full amount (not the difference THE FULL AMOUNT) 5 months later. So so unprofessional. They are def the cheap dentists praying on low income patients. Don't go here!!!

I had an emergency on Thursday evening while flossing my teeth with a placker, my front crown popped off!!! First thing Friday morning I called Desert Valley Dental and talked to Melissa and explained what had happened. She placed me briefly on hold and came back to advise that Dr. Jeff would fit me in but with no guarantee. This was the best outcome I could of hoped for. Dr. Jeff solidly glued my tooth back on and they billed my insurance ( Delta Dental). I am really satisfied with the service and efficiency of Desert Valley Dental.

Dr Wilson is great. I originally made the appointment due to possible root canal and was pleased to find out it could be delayed with possible self-healing. Time will tell but it's nice to see a doctor looking out for patients rather than just making a buck with a procedure. I did elect to proceed with other dental work while in the office, I mean why not since I was already there. I needed two crown replacements which Dr. Wilson took care of with no pain. I will be switching my future appointments for all dentistry to Lakeside.

Very helpful and informative. I came in for an emergency broken tooth and they were able to diagnose and book an appointment quickly. One of the most polite offices I've had the pleasure of visiting and I will (and have to haha) go back

My family member went to get a mouth guard for teeth grinding and the service was horrible. He has been going for the past 6-8 years, but after this we will never be back. He sat for over 30 min unattended, when he was finally attended a woman was so rude and she literally told him he was forgotten about. Finally, when a different nurse attended to him she did not speak to him other than saying, "open." It was very uncomfortable, unnecessary and unprofessional. He then was overcharged for the service and the mouth guard he ended up getting was cheaply made and uncomfortable.

Staff is warm friendly and helpful. On my very first visit. Dr. T. Basta solved a problem with a crown that has been plaguing me for years. There were no recommendations for unnecessary work and a refreshing attitude of it isn't broken, don't fix it. So excited to find this great practice on my first try! Desert Valley Dental is my new Dentist and I recommend them and Dr. Boasts without reservation!

Dr J was very quick, the staff was very nice and everyone was very helpful Update: I take it all back... he messed up my bite by doing "work" that I was later told by another dentist really didn't need to be done. Now my bite can only be corrected with cosmetic dentistry. He also went on and on to the assistant about how was about to retire and has "millions and millions and millions of dollars". He also was bragging about how he would never spend any of his money on his son's college education because of a technicality his son was going to have two Ivy League college degrees paid for which was going to be over $500,000. IMO that money should have gone to a college student with real financial need, not an uber rich doctor's privileged son. I will not support this practice with further business.
