Dr. Cam West was born in Utah and moved to Arizona shortly after. He grew up in Gilbert and attended Elementary through High School there. He attended Arizona State University and then went on to complete dental school at University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine. After dental school he worked as a general dentist in Arizonas White Mountains. During this time he discovered that he loved working with children and wanted to pursue further education in pediatrics. Dr. West attended Childrens Mercy Hospital in Kansas City and received his Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and American Dental Academy. He is also proud to be a board certified pediatric dentist (American Board of Pediatric Dentistry). In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children.
Andrea has been working in the dental field for nine years. She loves being a part of our wonderful team and getting to work with kids every day! She makes the kids feel at eased and happy, and makes sure that they are comfortable in our office. She has been married for over five years and is the mother of two girls, with another child on the way! When she is not taking care of our patients, Andrea enjoys reading, crafting and outdoor activities.
Kylie enjoys the family feel of our office and the special care each patient receives, which is what makes our office so different and special. She does her best to be a welcoming and friendly presence for each patient who visits us. Kylie is married to Jacob and enjoys camping and exploring Arizona.
Marina is the first face you will see when you walk through our door! She has been in the dental field since 2010. She loves working in a stress-free environment, with her awesome coworkers, the pediatric dentist and his family! She is friendly and cheerful and loves to get to know each of our patients. She is married with one beautiful daughter, and in her spare time she enjoys horseback riding with her family.

We love Desert Sun Pediatric Dentistry! Every single person has a happy demeanor and makes my son feel comfortable and less scared. I wish I had this to experience at the dentist when I was a kid. I highly recommend.

We changed from another dentist we had been going to for 5+ years and couldn't be happier. The staff is always so kind, helpful and patient with the kids. I feel comfortable in their care, the facility is always spotless. Our dentist is wonderful with my kids, too. We had a tooth pull shortly after switching over, and I could not have asked for a more smooth process from pre-Auth with insurance to getting it pulled. The kids enjoy getting their teeth cleaned and look forward to their visits.

I highly recommend Desert Sun Pediatric Dentistry and Dr. West! A couple years ago I asked neighbors for a recommendation on a new pediatric dentist and made an appt. We have been so pleased and my son leaves happy every time. Before his last appointment we was nervous to visit and when he got in the car after he said I love Dr. West!

Best pediatric dentist office everrrr!! My kids run inside and look forward to going to their dental appointment. Staff is so welcoming and fantastic with the kids. Even when my kids had major work done, staff always made their visit fun and enjoyable. Dr West and his brother are suuuuper nice, they make sure to take time to explain things and ensure the kids are comfortable before starting treatment. We are always blown away by how cute and fun the office is. My kids love it. But the best part of our visits is the staff. They are INCREDIBLE. So friendly and really feel like a family. We just went in to see Dr. West and his team for routine cleaning. I have 3 kids. We got in, and they took care of all 3 kids at the same time. We were done within 20 minutes! They are friendly, professional and do their job well. If you need a pediatric dentist, Dr. West is who you want working on your children's teeth.
