Dr. Steven Petruzzi was born and raised in Palm Springs, CA. He graduated from St. Marys College in Moraga, CA and received his dental degree from Creighton University in Omaha, NE. After dental school he attended a General Practice Residency through Brown University at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI. He then completed his Pediatric Dental Training at Childrens Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, MO. Having enough of the cold weather and snow he moved to Phoenix, AZ to get back to the desert and hot weather. After working for a few years Dr. Petruzzi was ready to open his own office. Being a true kid at heart, he knew having fun is top priority. It is his goal to make the dental visit fun and enjoyable. Dr. Petruzzi is married to his wife, Selena, and has three children, Benjamin, Caraline, and Alison. He stays active in the community by coaching youth sports. In his spare time he enjoys working out, obstacle and trial races, anything sports related, and spending time with his family. He is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist and belongs to the American Dental Association and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry as well as the local chapters of those groups.

We live in Anthem and went to Shepard dentistry before but didn't experience what I was looking for in dental care for my little ones until I found Dr. Patruzzi and his crew of attentive and lovely ladies @desert kids dentistry. Dr Patruzzi and his staff are on point from effective reminders to accommodating needs and schedules while performing the highest levels of respect and integrity when dealing with their patients in and out of waiting rooms but most of all these guys rock at efficiency, in and out with smiles from ear to ear every time and the added bonus of the office always being so clean, tidy and neat and decorated on each and every holiday by the lovely misses makes this office a TRUE DREAM TEAM IN KIDS DENTISTRY ! Everyone here is AMAZING!! We have been coming here for a few years now and my daughter loves it here!! Dr. Petruzzi and all of the techs are always so patient and kind with my daughter. I would highly recommend!!!!

The staff and Dr Petruzzi are wonderful and do an amazing job with the children. My autistic son loves to go see them and is so happy to get a new tooth brush! My youngest daughter is so proud to tell the staff that she had no sugar bugs on her teeth. She leaves the office the pride. Highly recommend this office to any parent.

I have been taking my son to this dental office for quite a few years now. Great service, quality work and not to mention very nice staff. Every experience I have had with Dr. Petruzzi has been a very positive one. Plus with not having dental insurance I have found their prices to be quite reasonable.

We the love The Dentist and his whole staff, they ROCK!! We were driving by and was already looking for a dentist that was great with children and who was professional at the same time.. we found them!! We have already started telling our friends and family about our dentist and how he treats everyone like family!! Our grandson is special needs, has apraxia disorder and was very worried that the dentist and staff wouldn't treat us well.. well we were wrong. They made sure of that!! The office is beautiful and super clean and smells great and they way they do the appt and handle everything professional and fun too, makes us happy!! Thanks again for treating my grandson and son like super hero's & family.

My two year old HATES any type of doctors appointment. Even though he throws an absolute fit every time we come here, the entire staff is always so kind and patient with him. At the end of his last visit he even gave Dr. Petruzzi a high five! The office is very clean, and I can tell everyone working there really cares about making sure the kids have a fun and comfortable experience there.
