Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.
An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.
Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is an advanced, proven technology that provides more precise three-dimensional (3D) imaging for more accurate diagnosis and treatment of oral health conditions. 3D dental X-rays can uncover issues that may not be detectable with 2D X-rays. By making images easier to see, its helpful in gaining a better understanding of oral health conditions and suggested treatment.

Please don't go here! First they tried to pull a tooth my original dentist just said needed a root canal. They had no plan whatsoever. I walked out before receiving any treatment after he said that. I went back to my original dentist and his endodantist did the root canal and told me I was very smart for walking out of desert gateway because there was zero reasons why they needed to pull my tooth. He said my tooth was perfectly healthy. So after all this desert gateway charges me so I try obviously get my money back because who charges someone when they haven't got anything done. A couple weeks go by and desert gateway charges me again for 280$ when I literally didn't receive any service! I walked out! So now I have to dispute this charge! Please they are clearly money hungry and lazy save your teeth don't go here!

I put off any work on my teeth for so many years. Until my broken tooth became absolutely painful. Mary the DA walked me through the process and gave me so much support and reassurance. Greg the DH was absolutely kind and gentle when it came to my cleaning. Dr. Lambard gave me my smile back. Thank you for the back office team! ***im giving 5 stars for the back office. The front office needs to understand it's completely outta pocket to schedule me an appointment 2 months out and then call me 48 hours before the appointment to reschedule me when it's the office mistake..... Then to get different numbers that was charged to my insurance and have me pay a different amount. Then when I asked for clarification they just give me the print out of my costs on their end with no true explanation. Do better.

This office is great. It's really nice to see people who like there job and are good at it. Came in because I broke a filling, got my tooth fixed same day. Thank you to the assistant Becky who helped me. And dean the hygienist for spending the time to go over how to better take care of my teeth.

Greg did a very good job of cleaning up my teeth today. He not only cleaned the teeth well but was very personable as well. He made me feel very at ease and gave me good pointers for improving the way I take care of my teeth. He will be missed by his customers at the Monterey Ave office when he goes back to LaQuinta. I just began my Medicare Senior Advantage through Kaiser Permanente. This required that I leave my former dental office. I just went for my first evaluation, by Dr. Lebard and her staff at Desert Gateway Dental Group. I am VERY impressed: clean, well managed office, sophisticated equipment, upbeat and friendly staff, and a dentist who could not have been more informative and personal with my dental needs. No upselling, just options. My only regret is that I waited so long to become a patient to this great dental group. Thanks to all of you!

Every staff member I've come in contact with at Desert Gateway Dental is friendly, kind, and most professional. Years of fearing & avoiding the dentist office caused me more issues than I ever cared to deal with. From the moment I walked in the front door for the first time, the front staff was genuine, respectful, and they made me feel welcome. Oral surgery on the other hand makes me cringe at the mere thought and Dr. Herrera made me as comfortable as possible. It was all over before I could say, *%#! that hurt! When I met Dr. LeBard for the first time, she was very kind & compassionate. What an amazing human & dentist she is. She took the terror out of being at the dentist office. Over the course of a year and a half she worked with me to ease my fear. Once I dealt with the emergent need, I decided to improve my smile. Dr. LeBard worked with me to create the most amazing smile that one could have. Now, I can't stop smiling! As unusual as it is for me, I actually look forward to my dental appointments. I now go regularly for exams & my cleanings with Dean. I no longer have to worry about those pricey deep cleanings that others complain about. More frequent visits to the dentist & better hygiene on my part has eliminated those altogether. It makes a world of difference when you know that people actually care about you and your wellbeing. As a result, I care about each of them as well. I highly recommend Desert Gateway Dental Group!

I had two bridges come out and tried to book an emergency appointment to get them cemented back in, but it seems there is no one in the desert who provides emergency dental service. I really like Desert Gateway Dental but they aren't there when you need them. I may have to rethink my dental provider.
