Dr. Robert McLachlan Jr. is a Prosthodontist, who received his dental degree from the University of Southern California. He received his certificate in Prosthodontics and his Masters in Oral Science from the University of Iowa. Dr. McLachlan Jr has nearly 25 years of experience treating both simple and complex dental rehabilitations, TMJ disorders, and a variety of dental implant restorations.
Dr. McLachlan Jr. is a board-eligible Prosthodontist. His passion in practice is to craft treatment solutions to fit each patients unique needs. Dr. McLachlan Jr. feels this is the best way to help patients maintain a healthy mouth.
Dr. Miranda Kore is a general dentist, who received her dental degree from the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. She has been practicing dentistry since 2017, and has had the opportunity to work with communities in Northern and Southern California. She has been with the Desert Dental Specialty Group since the beginning of 2021. Dr. Kores practice of general dentistry focuses on achieving and maintaining a happy and healthy smile. She is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Tri-County Dental Society, and American Academy of Facial Esthetics.

Our child experienced a traumatic injury to his teeth. The DDS Group made an effort to fit us in thanks to an appointment cancelation. We felt grateful! The prosthodontist Dr. MacLachlan Jr. treated the injury with expert skill. The Dr. spoke to us with attention and concern, patiently sharing the recommended long-term treatment plan with us. The staff was kind and well-organized. The facility is clearn and spacious. We feel so fortunate to have connected with the Desert Dental Specialty Group and highly recommended their advanced dental services.

First visit today to DDS and Dr Cartter was life changing. Moved to desert from San Diego few months ago and was looking for references for local dentist and got multiple highly quality references to JC. Former dentist in SD had started a multiple phase "treatment plan" and I just cancelled upcoming treatments because wanted the work to be done local. To my very pleasant surprise...Dr Cartter said none of the tons of work/pain and $15k dollars I was planning to spend and endure with my former dentist was needed. Only one $250 filling. Great pleasant staff, great facilities and an ethical and highly skilled dentist. Another great reason to live here.

The best Dentist in California! Dr. Joshua Cartter and his staff go above and beyond. Their professionalism and every procedure we have every had there as a family of five has been top notch! You'll never go to another dentist after coming here! They are a premier dental group!

I had a broken tooth that was extracted and an implant immediately placed with a temporary crown. Everything worked out great so far.

What a great office! I called today with a dental emergency. I have never been a patient in this practice as I am vacationing from New Jersey. The receptionist, Gwen, was very responsive to my concern and scheduled an appointment immediately. As an office manager with over 30 years of experience in the dental profession, I am very discriminating about dental and medical care. I was very impressed and found Dr. McLachlan and his staff to be very personable, highly skilled, and very gentle. Thank you all so much for the excellent care!!

Worst place I've ever been to. Back in 2013 Margaret Ashe was aggressive, rude to me and her assistant durning a root canal. Then I had to pay for the services! I had complained to the referring dentist and told him not to refer his patients their.

I had a really great experience with the whole staff there. I found them to be quite honest when the procedure they quoted ended up being more than I needed. They modified the treatment plan and reduced the cost accordingly. They were kind and professional. They seemed to take an interest in my care and how they could really help me.

Office practices are fraudulent. We have made many pleadings with them, one-on-one with office staff, through seeking a chargeback to making a VERY reasonable settlement offer via email and only asking in return for a dismissal of a $39.05 charge that they say we owe them. The ENTIRE staff and dentists completely ignored us. Unfortunately, we will file legal documents with the court this coming Monday. Perhaps then they will listen, learn and progress to the point where you could trust them. Until then, buyer beware!

There is not another place like this in the valley! What an amazing office they have! One stop for any kind of dental work you need. They have their own lab and CT scanner! Dr McLachlan prides himself and his associates on excellence! I had 3 implants and experienced absolutely no pain, which is my main concern. I will never go to another dentist again!
