Dr. Brett M. Barney was born and raised in Benson, Arizona, where he graduated from high school in 1988. Dr. Brett M. Barney served a two-year church mission in Denmark from 1989-1991. Dr. Barney completed his undergraduate studies at Pima Community College and the University of Arizona. He then spent the next four years in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he completed dental school in May 1999. Dr. Barney is a general dentist who enjoys being able to participate in all facets of the dental field. He realizes the importance of new techniques and technology in offering patients the best possible dental care. In particular, Dr. Barney is pleased to be your knowledgeable resource for sleep dentistry. He works hard to go the extra mile for our patients.
Dr. Brett M. Barney was married to his wife, Lisa, in May 1993 and now has four children: Brevin, Travis, Brittany and Jace. During his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and finds time occasionally to get in a round of golf. He also enjoys CrossFit with Jace and loves to escape to the dunes when given the opportunity!

First of doctor seems to know what he is doing but everyone else not. First they charge me of 3000$ for my desperate need implant, and then later they lost the record of me paying and give me the invoice for 1300$ for after the insurance paid for. So I had to show my credit card statement to show my transaction. The during the operation for implant, doctor assistance didn't prepare the right equipment make the doctor run like crazy find tool while my mouth white open, and then blame the assistant in front of me. Then later my implant screw top came loose and almost fall off, I call to tight to back up they make me wait for 4 days to tight to back. So I have loose screw in my mouth, I couldn't eat anything properly, even drinking water, afraid that I could swallow the screw all weekend long and 2 more days wait.

Dr. Hall and assistant Brianna were wonderful. Their calming manner calmed my anxiety. Grateful for getting me in so quickly as a new patient and happy with the results of my crown.

Due to a couple bad experiences in the past I am very nervous when having work done on my teeth, however, Dr Ley made sure my mouth was numb and checked to make sure I was doing ok throughout the process. Everyone was very nice and I'm glad I chose Desert Dental!

Just moved to Tucson and was referred by my sister-in-law to Houghton-Desert Dental Group. I'm very happy with their professionalism and honesty. I fortunately did not have any cavities but my mother did and they took good care of her, so we will be staying with the Desert Dental Group for future dental needs.
