As a general dentist, Dr. Deirmenjian is devoted to providing quality, rewarding, and compassionate care to every patient that visits him. Serving as the founder and CEO of B. Deirmenjian and Affiliates, he serves patients at many multi-specialty facilities in California, including Los Angeles, San Gabriel Valley, Riverside and San Bernardino counties and has just added three new locations in the San Diego area.
With nineteen locations in California, B. Deirmenjian and Affiliates serve patients of all ages, from all backgrounds, and from every walk of life. The team of specialists, general dentists, assistants, and benefit coordinators offer a number of services, including: cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, endodontics, family dentistry, oral surgery, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, and periodontics. They are dedicated to making dental care rewarding, so that individuals have a reason to share their smile.
Before entering private practice, Dr. Deirmenjian served as Dental Director at Guards Dental, where he demonstrated strong leadership skills in operating over 40 locations. Subsequently, he established his own family dental private practices, Smiles West, Desert Dental Group, and Ponderosa Dental Group.
To prepare for his career, he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California at Irvine, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 1988. Furthering his studies, he went on to obtain his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in 1999.
Remaining abreast of the latest dental developments, Dr. Deirmenjian is an active member of the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association. He is also a peer-review member at MetLife Insurance and Liberty Dental, sits on the advisory committee of Henry Schein Dental, is a UCLA adjunct professor, and is board-certified by the Dental Board of California.
Revered for his extensive 30+ year leadership background, Dr. Deirmenjian has been voted #100 on the Inc.5000 Series list of the Fastest-Growing Companies in California and #1528 of the Inc. 5000 Fastest-Growing Companies nationally. Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.
An active member of his community, Dr. Deirmenjian truly enjoys helping the less fortunate and volunteering when he can with food drives and community outreach initiatives. Previously, he has participated in pro bono work for human trafficking victims in the Los Angeles area. He was also involved in a health fair head-start program, senior citizens program, and maintained an affiliation with Veteran Affairs.
Dr. Shobhita Choudhary, DMD, studied at the University of California Berkeley and achieved her DMD at the Western University of Health Sciences. She is an adjunct professor at UCLA. Dr. Choudhary offers patients a clear and concise explanation of their needs as well as personalized treatment plans. Dr. Choudhary treats all patients like family and enjoys improving patients self-confidence.
Dr. Benedicto Elepano, DMD, earned his DDS at the University of Dentistry, College of Dentistry. He is a member of several affiliated organizations including the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Tri-County Dental Society, and American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He offers patients thorough dental examinations with a clear explanation on why recommendations are being made. He strives to make every experience as pleasant as possible.
Dr. Jane Caballero, DDS, earned her BS in biological sciences from the University of Southern California. She then completed a general practice residency at the University of California, Los Angeles and the pediatric dentistry program at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Serving as a pedodontist, Dr. Caballero has a passion for childrens health and giving care to those less fortunate. She has been awarded the American college of dentist award as well as the academy of operative dentistry award.
Dr. David Mashhadian, DDS, MD, FACS, earned his MD degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, his DDS degree from the New York University College of Dentistry and his BA degree from Hofstra University. He is a fellow at the American College of Surgeons, ACS the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, AACS, the California Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, CACS, the American Association of Oral & Maxillo-Facial Surgeons, AAOMS and the California Association of Oral & Maxillo-Facial Surgeons, CALAOMS.
Dr. Michael Vongphoe, DDS, attended the University of Southern California. He treats all patients like family. This includes a transparent and thorough assessment of dental issues, a clear discussion of options and most importantly, a quick and pain-free experience. Dr. Vongphoe is a member of the ADA, CDA and the AAE (American Association of Endodontists).
Dr. Hadi Shbeeb, DDS, received his Bachelors of Science, University of California Irvine, CA and earned his DDS at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry, Los Angeles, CA. Dr. Shbeeb believes in honesty, consistency, safety, and reliability.
Dr. Fariba Matinfar, DDS, earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery, Master of Science and Periodontal Specialty degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles. She loves to help patients have a beautiful smile and maintain their oral health. Dr. Matinfar is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Society, the California Dental Society and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.
Dr. Kevin S. Lee, DDS, MS, attended Stanford University and earned a BA in human biology. He soon after went to the UCLA School of Dentistry. He then completed his residency at the UCLA section of orthodontics (orthodontics certificate), earned his Masters at the UCLA School of Dentistry (MS in Oral Biology) and his American Board of Orthodontics Certification. During his dental education, Dr. Lee became fascinated by human craniofacial development and decided to pursue orthodontics, which is the clinical specialty closely related to growth and development of the head. He is a member of the American Board of Orthodontics, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, the International Association for Dental Research, the American Association for Dental Research and the American Dental Association.

They said that both my kids had multiple cavities at the same appointment and I couldn't believe it. The same day I heard another girl surprised and complaining about how she was told that she has multiple cavities by this dentist. I decided to take my kids to another dentist and have them checked a second time. And amazingly they didn't find any cavities. I'm glad that I got a 2nd opinion. My kids like how their new dentist cleans their teeth better and had a much better overall experience than at Desert Dental group. I don't trust this place and I'm going to look into how I can report them.

Save yourself the hassle. Dirty office, rude receptionists, they'll drill your kids teeth as often as they can. They said my daughter had 7 cavities, I got a second opinion and she had one. You can't be with them during procedures and the dr's are absolute garbage, I'm talking ripped scrubs with blood stains on them, exam chairs are all ripped up, just don't come here period. I don't care what insurance you have, go to another dentist.

I wouldn't give any start if I could. I had take my kids here since 2007 and they have changed their service a lot, Dr William is unprofessional and arrogant. Don't allow to live your kids alone during procedures.

I had a appointment for my 6 year old son to get a filling done and after signing the paper work they told me that I need to sit in the lobby while the procedure is done, mind you they are giving him laughing gas and a shot to numb and he has never experienced any of this he was scared and nervous and they would NOT allow me to sit with him they said its the doctors orders. This new doctor must not has children of his own. I do not leave me kids alone with ANYONE specially in this day and age, I feel that they were very inconsiderate and they were very unprofessional about it. Needless to say I left with my son and did not allow them to go forward with his fillings and I will be taking my children to a new children's dental office locally who said they have no problem with me being with my children during any procedures. I do not recommend this office to anyone and I would hope that this message gets out to everyone and anyone with children.

I took my 3 kids here. Great experience at first had to schedule the follow up procedures was told it would be $30 for each follow up cancellation or whatever. That was fine, my kids got sick around the time of their appointment so I called telling them asking for a call back to reschedule. It's been months I've called several times since, then I got my bill but no call back. I wouldn't even mind the bill if anyone actually answered the phones or followed up with calling back. So now I'm taking my kids elsewhere.

Took my daughter for her checkup. After never having a cavity we were told she had 6, one being so bad she would need a root canal & a cap. We were also told that I would not be allowed in the room with her during the procedure, instead she would have to wear a weighted blanket so that she wouldn't move. Of course that wasn't going to happen. So we got a second opinion so I could be with her if there needed to be any work done. We're were told that she doesn't have a single cavity at the new office. Very disappointed with this office.

I was looking for a location that was accommodating to children with special needs and was hoping this was the place but sadly it wasn't. Not once did they ask what accomodations he needed if he had sensory issues, communication Issues or emotional ones. When I was vocal they just smiled and ask that I need to leave because it's only one adult per room. When my son no longer was able to handle the overload of sensory he began to cry and that's when I had to stop it.

The experience we had at this facility was amazing. We brought our 2 boys . They very friendly, Patient, and the care they show for the kids was amazing. We decided to stay with them, we definitely recommend them.

I called 5x. 2 times it automatically hung upon me. The other 3 times the receptionist hung up. If their phone service is like this I don't want to know how they will work on my kids teeth
