His father was an general dentist. His mother is a pediatrician and his grandfather was a general surgeon. You might say that dentistry is in his genes. He graduated from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, School of Dentistry in Timisoara, Romania in 1994. He practiced dentistry in Romania until 1999, when his wife-an anesthesiologist, and himself moved to the United States. At that time Dr. Durghinescu attended the Duggan Study Institute in Loma Linda. After passing his boards he went to the Medical College of Georgia for extended training in implant dentistry. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Chris is gentle and the most professional dentist I have visited. Today's visit was the most thorough exam I have ever received from ANY DENTIST. My teeth look great. I know I am in great hands. Couldn't be happier

I have been Desert Art Dentistry's patient for over 15 years. Dr Durghinescu is absolutely phenomenal. He is one of the best dentists I have ever encountered (unfortunately I have seen many!!). He is very knowledgable and pay attention to details and have his patient's interest in his mind all the time. He is very nice and friendly and has great bedside manner as well. The office staff and dental hygienists are wonderful and make the experience as smooth as possible.

Desert Dental Arts has a very warm atmosphere and Dr. Chris along with his team of hygienists, assistants, and staff offer a very friendly and professional experience. Friendly staff, very clean environment, no waiting. Dr. Cris is extremely knowledgeable and professional, and knows how to put you at ease. I've been to a lot of dentists in my lifetime and I can vouch that Dr.Cris Durghinescu is one of the best! Highly recommended!
