  • My philosophy of dentistry is that great dentistry and a great, fun atmosphere should not be mutually exclusive!I know that a lot of people have fears about dentistry but in my experience, if you look people in the eye, explain everything that's going on and treat people with the respect (which is what I expect when I go to my physician) then it shouldn't be scary or intimidating.I also believe that one of the worst things in the world is a dental office where you can feel the tension when you walk in the door, set to the not so soothing sound of elevator music! We always have great music playing and the only reason your mouth should hurt when you leave is because of laughing too much! I am really proud of what we are building here and I think it shows in how happy my team is and how happy our patients are.

Hello! Im the Treatment Coordinator for the office. With over 12 years experience I am happy to help our patients maximize their dental benefit plans. I look forward to getting to know patients and making their experience enjoyable. My 5 year old daughter is the biggest joy of my life. Every day with her is an adventure! I also love spending time with family and cooking.

Hi, my name is Coty. I have been in dental since 2016. I have worked as a Dental Assistant and front office coordinator, knowing the ins and outs of dental from chairside all the way to helping maximize your dental benefits.

Here at Deschutes River Dentistry I am your financial coordinator and I am dedicated to our helping patients with every step of their dental visit. I try to make your dental experience as hassle free as possible.

Hi there, Im Brittany, and I look forward to meeting you! I help our patients with scheduling needs and optimize their insurance benefits. I may be new to the dental industry, but I love learning new things and always strive for the best. Dentistry has always been intriguing for me, and I couldnt be happier that I decided to dive in headfirst learning the industry from the inside-out. When Im not at work, I spend my time snuggling with my babies and watching football. Go Hawks!

Tooth decay often begins at an early age, making young children particularly susceptible. Nearly half of 2-11-year-olds have experienced tooth decay while 32% of kids between 9 -11 years old display cavities in their permanent teeth. Major contributing factors to this public health problem include baby formula with added sugar and heavily-sugared fruit juices. Even breast milk can cause cavities in baby teeth because of the natural sugars present.

Care for baby teeth should begin as soon as the first tooth appears. We recommend that you bring your child in for an exam no later than his or her first birthday. And regular six-month checkups from then on will put kids on a similar schedule to most adults. We can monitor your child for dental problems while customizing preventive coaching to fit specific conditions.

  • Your babys teeth should always be flushed with water or wiped down with a damp cloth after feeding, especially before they fall asleep. Milk or formula residue left in the mouth can promote decay even in the youngest patients. Untreated cavities can eventually lead to pain and infection.
  • Begin brushing as soon as the first tooth appears. Even a small piece of tooth showing can develop a cavity. Start by brushing with a soft bristled brush and water, and ask your dentist when its ok to begin using a small amount of toothpaste.

As always An amazing pleasant experience. The staff is so nice - it's a welcoming office. Great people even a dog to pet. I've been coming here since I moved to WA in 2014. Besides being a great dentist Dr Edwards is personable.

I've been going to Deschutes Dentistry for 5+ years and feel like the dentist and hygienists are very good at general cleaning and tooth repair and also make sure you're comfortable while they are working on your teeth.

Dr. Edwards and all the staff. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. My dental hygienist is patient and very careful during my cleanings, checkups. They also have great music playing in the background, which eases my anxiety. I would highly recommend their services.

Love this place. Dr. Edward's and the complete staff are awesome. They are fast, friendly, funny, and know what they are doing. They are so accommodating and knowledgeable. I would recommend this Dentist office to everyone. The waiting room is so comfortable. They have lots of reading material, kids area, even a video game. These wonderful professionals take the "bite" out of going to Dentist.

I can only try to express the thanks and gratitude I have for this dentistry. if you have any fears or doubts about going to a dentist. This is the place for you. I hate to think where I would be orally without this place .The staff is second to none .and the dentist is on another level. They have bent over backwards to do things for me. that I would have never been able to find anywhere else. Hands down the greatest dentist office ever.

This visit I came in for a cleaning, and though my usual hygienist was already booked, they still came in to say hi. The one I got was excellent and attentive and did a great job. Everyone is always friendly helpful and upbeat. I'm very happy with them. And, as a bonus, they have massage chairs!

I'm always happy to walk into your office. Your employees are open, kind and helpful. Lots of humor throughout the patients area is very normal. I've been to lots of dentists in my 82 years and this is not a place you can't smile as you leave
