My team is the heart of the practice and the reason why weve grown through patient referrals. Each team member brings her years of experience, as well as compassion, empathy, and warmth to our College Park office. They care about our patients as people, first-and-foremost, and will do everything possible to keep every patient comfortable, relaxed, and engaged.
Though we are all serious about oral healthcare, were just as serious about building real connections. We greet all our patients with a smile and by name, and strive to make each feel at ease in our care. Were more interested in the quality of dental care we provide, rather than the quantity. We spend as much time as needed to ensure our patient is pleased with his or her visit.
Im committed to lifelong learning. Throughout the year, I complete a range of continuing education courses, to learnabout new techniques, materials, and technologies. Im also currently enrolled in a two-year Comprehensive Dental Program at the University of Florida. Ongoing dental education ensures Im providing everypatient with the right care for their situation.
When Im not working, I am often reading up on advances in oral healthcare, driving to Gainesville for the Comprehensive Dental Program courses, and occasionally going for bike rides and reading.I love to read. My favorite times, though, are spent with my husband and two sons.
Ive lived in Orlando for the last 15 years and love the Florida weather. I was born and raised in the Dominican Republic, where I attended dental school. Now I keep myself up to date on dental advances through continuing education courses. Desai Dental is a small, close-knit office where we all help each other in order to provide the best care and customer service. In my spare time, I love traveling and going to concerts.
Luz Lopez-Monje attended dental school in Colombia where she began her career as a dentist. After moving to the United States she studied to be an expanded functions dental assistant at the American School of Nursing. She is also certified in radiology. Luz is a dedicated dental assistant who makes it her priority to give patients top-notch care that keeps them smiling and healthy.
Sandra is our lovely dental assistant! Sandra has been a Dental assistant for 24 years! Sandra is trained as a dental assistant with extended functionalities. In Sandras free time, she loves learning about healthy lifestyles, habits and making recipes!
Leanne is Desai Dentals patient coordinator! She has worked in dentistry for 7 years and absolutely loves serving patients. She is an expert in insurance and greatly values customer service. When she is not at Desai Dental, Leanne spends times outdoors, at the beach and with her family!
Pam is the office manager at Desai Dental. Previously from Boston, MA Pam has worked in Dentistry for 14 years! Pam is a trained Dental Assistant and has expertise in Dental Office operations and management. In her free time, Pam enjoys relaxing at home and spending time with her kids and grandkids!

Everyone here is amazing. They always go the extra mile to take care of my family's dental needs. My oldest even comes back from Tampa for his cleanings with Claudia. Definitely deserves " 10 " rating !!!

Office staff was very friendly. Claudia was very explanatory before applying procedure. They seem to really care, and take time with you. Glad I was recommended to come here. Also they are super responsive if you have questions. Looking forward to working with Dr. Desai and her staff.

I'm new to the area from Kansas and the moment I walked in the entire staff were very welcoming. I also have no dental insurance so being able to get X-rays including consultation was very affordable for someone on a very limited budget. Just like the rest of the staff meeting Dr Dasai was no different than her too being as welcoming and kind as they were. Her knowledge, expertise and willingness to take the time to explain everything to my understanding of the options I had in moving forward with my care has helped put me more at ease with continuing to work with her as my dentist.

The BEST dental clinic! My family was treated unbelievably kind; as if we were family! Dr. Desai was very patient, warm, professional and detailed in her treatment. She has a wonderful support staff, which reflect their leadership: Ms. Pam, Mrs. Luz, Mrs. LeeAnn, Ms. Claudia, and Ms. Sandra are all phenomenal!!!!!!

This dental practice is a big scam unfortunately. Dr. Desai will tell you that you have more cavities and even need root canals when you don't just to get more money. She apparently found over 8 cavities and 5 of those needed root canals. I was in shock since I've always kept good care of my teeth. Thankfully I didn't finish "fixing" all that she wanted me to over 5 sessions because I didn't have all the money. One day sharing with one of my coworkers all the cavities I needed to fix. She goes to tell me that I should get an expert opinion as Dr. Desai had misdiagnosed her with more cavities in the past and thats why she stopped going there. I went ahead and check two other dentistry practices just to be sure and both told me that I only had one cavity much less needed root canals. Unfortunately I had already gotten two root canals with Dr. Desai when I probably didn't need it. I honestly think she should be audited. What she is doing is a crime.

Easily one of the best dentists I've been to. The staff is all incredible warm and friendly. I was able to get an appointment within a week of chipping my tooth. Took care of my (much needed) fillings, night guard, and chipped tooth no problem! They took my insurance with no issues and had a very low copay. If you're looking for a dentist that will work with you, judgement-free, that produces amazing results, stop looking. Desai Dental is the best place around!

I chose Desai Dental because I hate going to the dentist and they have the Single Tooth Anesthesia which is less scary for me. I couldn't have made a better choice in dentist. Everyone at the office is super nice and makes me feel at ease. I now make full use of my insurance benefits and go to the dentist, as recommended, because it's no longer a scary experience.

Leanne was first point of contact and very efficient in meeting my needs and Luz and Sandra were a great team of dental assistants working together to ensure my comfort in every way.
