This dental office is absolutely top notch! The staff are compassionate, caring, knowledgeable, and professional! Typically a visit to the dentist can make you very anxious, however, at this office you feel nothing but a warm welcome and great compassionate care. If you are in need of a dentist, go to Des Peres Dentistry and receive great, professional and excellent care!

Long standing customer with failed crown after failed crown. One was less than a year old and failed again after 3 months, and I had been charged for it twice. Two other failed crowns that could not be covered by insurance since they were only a couple years old. Nice people and office, but the quality of workmanship is sorely lacking. Amanda (Hygienist) is wonderful, but I will not be back.

Best experience I ever had. Everyone is friendly & very professional. You can walk in and have a crown put on ... from start ... ( old filling & cavity out? ) to finish (making a crown...yes they can make a crown in house in 30 minutes!! ) No two appointments, no referring you to another dentist. Totally impressed!! You won't be disappointed .

**Edit- Dr. Short is no longer with Des Peres Dentistry. After he left, a medical incident occurred during my appointment with the new doctor and it was discovered that basic medical equipment was missing from the office that day. I did not return. Original review: Wonderful staff, always friendly, on time. Clean, modern decor. High tech equipment. I've had to have some work done over the years and I completely trust Dr. Short and his team. I left my last dental office due to the doctor's poor treatment of staff. Dr. Short is always friendly with patients and staff and has a great sense of humor. Highly recommend Des Peres Dentistry.

I chose Des Pere Dentisty years ago because they said they would make the experience agood one. I had a irrational fear of dentistry and I knew I needed work done to my teeth. They came through with flying colors. I continue to go because of the staff. Love the hygienists and Dr Gafney always comes up with several options for my plan of care. I like choices. The Covid pandemic was hard for everyone, Des Pere Dentisty has returned and doing wonderful work.

I have been a patient at Des Peres Dentistry for 5+ years and could not speak more highly of this dental practice. You can tell that Dr. Gaffney genuinely cares and is very knowledgeable. Also, it is evident that they are concerned about their patients and provide excellent dental care, using cutting-edge technology. This is by far the nicest dental office I have ever seen!

My family has enjoyed visiting this dental team for 8+ years. Even our children love the staff! They have the most comfortable environment and current technology. They help me make pertinent decisions by working with my insurance company. Couldn't be happier with Des Peres Dentistry.

Had an absolutely amazing experience receiving multiple veneers. Dr. Gaffney explained everything thoroughly and Courtney was an attentive, knowledgeable assistant throughout. Beautiful work (even with the temporaries) - would 100% recommend.

I would not recommend Des Peres Dentistry! I was told a procedure would cost me out of pocket $631. I asked if she was sure that's all it would be and she replied yes. A couple of weeks later I receive a bill for $252.20. When I called and inquired I was told it was only an estimate that I was quoted. At NO time was I told it was an estimate. How can someone be off that much?? $20 or $30 I can see and she knew I was concerned about the expense because I asked her twice about the amount. I feel I was taken advantage of and treated unfairly. Keep in mind my insurance is in their network. Very disappointing. Looking for a new dentist needless to say.

I've been going to DPD for almost 3 years. In the past I've never enjoyed going to the dentist. Dr. Gaffney makes you feel at home and comfortable and his staff is top notch. I love their use of technology and they are always eager to answer any questions I may have.

I have been going to Des Peres Dentistry for a few years now, and they are always awesome! Lauren is my dental hygienist and she is so amazing that I make sure to get an appointment with her for each of my bi-yearly checkups. We like them so much that my whole family goes here. I haven't done any cosmetic-related dental work, mostly just regular cleanings. They helped me get a night-guard for teeth grinding and also gave me my molds so that I could get a new night-guard anywhere if I ever needed one! Everyone at the office is totally amazing and really cares for their patients!

I recently moved to the area and needed to find a new dentist. Going to the dentist always makes me nervous but I felt so good here! Everyone put me at ease, answered my questions really clearly, and listened to me carefully.

Best dental practice in town! The hygienist are so wonderful it almost feels like spa visit. Dr. Gaffney recommended some additional work beyond my first cleaning. I may have been a little skeptical at first, but after trusting his recommendations I no longer have chewing, bite, or sensitivity issues. I highly recommend!
