Dr. Revell is recognized by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry as a board-certified pediatric dentist. Dr. Revell grew up in Newton, Iowa and attended Central College where she majored in Biology and Chemistry. She attended dental school at The University of Iowa College of Dentistry and graduated in 2009.
Following graduation she completed a two-year specialty training at the Texas A&M Health Sciences Center, Baylor College of Dentistry with residencies at Childrens Medical Center of Dallas and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. After residency she worked in private pediatric dentistry in the greater Dallas area.
Dr. Warrington is recognized by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry as a board-certified pediatric dentist. Dr. Warrington is an Iowa native and grew up in Cedar Rapids. He attended The University of Iowa and majored in Psychology. Following undergrad studies, Dr. Warrington attended dental school at The University of Iowa College of Dentistry, graduating in 2009.
Following dental school, Dr. Warrington worked in private pediatric dentistry practice in the Dallas area for two years. During this time, he also completed a two-year specialty training at the Texas A&M Health Sciences Center, Baylor College of Dentistry with residencies at Childrens Medical Center of Dallas and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.
Dr. Turner is licensed by the Iowa Dental Board as a general dentist. Dr. Turner grew up in Urbandale, Iowa and attended Drake University where she majored in Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology. She attended dental school at The University of Iowa College of Dentistry and graduated in 2012.
Following graduation, Dr. Turner practiced in Des Moines, IA, Charleston, SC, Dallas, TX, and Omaha, NE before returning to her hometown. She has experience working with both adult and pediatric dental patients in both private practice and public health settings.
Dr. Turner's professional interests include endodontics, restorative dentistry, and oral surgery. She is an active member of the American Dental Association and is on the Executive Committee for the Des Moines District Dental Society.
Dr. Christensen is recognized as board eligible pediatric dentist by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Christensen grew up in Waterloo, Iowa and attended the University of Northern Iowa where she majored in Geology and Earth Science. She attended The University of Iowa College of Dentistry and graduated in 2018.
Following graduation, she completed a two-year pediatric dentistry specialty training at The University of Iowa College of Dentistry with residency at Stead Family Childrens Hospital. Dr. Christensen lives in Waukee, Iowa with her husband, Chuck. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, skiing, reading, working out, and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Christensens professional interests include early childhood caries, anxious patients, and special healthcare needs dentistry. In addition to practicing at Des Moines Childrens Dentistry, Dr. Christensen is an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at The University of Iowa College of Dentistry and Dental Clinics, where she teaches dental students and pediatric dental residents.
Melanie is our Office Manager and has been with us since we opened in 2013. She is here to ensure you and your child have an amazing experience while visiting our office. Melanie grew up in central Iowa and attended Central College in Pella, graduating with a Business Administration degree. She has always loved working with children and enjoys making sure families feel safe and comfortable with their childs oral healthcare.
Melanie lives here in West Des Moines with her husband, Nathan, and their two dogs. In her free time she enjoys traveling, cycling, home improvement projects and spending time with her family and friends.

Over the past 5 years we have experienced exceptional service! The office is so clean, organized and family friendly. The staff is so kind, knowledgeable and have so much patience with all 5 of my kiddos. We couldn't ask for a better place to take our kids, they truly love going to the dentist.

Nice place, but some staff/dentists are rude sounding. Heads up, if your child does not want to open mouth, they hold them down and force open it. I know they running on schedule but in my opinion it creates bad experiences in kids brains, expecially if they are very young and scared of dentist appts in the first place. I will give them another chance, because I know anhone can have a bad day, but if they do not change attitudes and some practices, we are out! 2 1/2 stars for now!

We did not have the best experience the second visit. Lots of crying, no consoling and was told if she didn't sit still she was gonna pull her teeth out. If you can't handle a crying child then you probably should not be working in a pediatric office.

Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Able to fit us in quickly after an accident that caused some tooth pain, and great at working with tricky schedules for regular cleanings. Doctors always do a great job of explaining procedures or potential concerns. Our kids love the kid-friendly atmosphere and staff!

This dentist office is amazing. I love my son's dentist and all of the dental techs and assistants are so amazing! My son is on the autism spectrum and has high anxiety. They have always done such an amazing job with him. The rooms are comfortable and decorated fun for kids. The waiting room is awesome. They have ipad tvs for kids to play on, toys, and a play hut area. I won't take my son anywhere else. Highly recommend!

I love this place and can not say enough good things about it!! Both doctors are awesome, but I have most experience with the one who works primarily with younger children (forgive me, I forget her name). Even when I brought some highly controversial subject matter to her attention, and asked questions she felt passionately about, she remained very caring and professional, and although her recommendation and my decision did not line up- she remained 100% amazing and allowed me to make the decision for my children without pressure to conform. Everyone there has amazing bedside manner and I'd recommend them every single time I can!! I even changed insurance providers to keep them there!! Go see them! You will not have a child afraid of the dentist from this office!!

The best dentist we've ever been to. Very welcoming staff. My little girl doesn't like strangers so she cried the whole time but that didn't stop the dentist getting the job done. I'm glad we chose this office, absolutely satisfied!
