Dr. Cieri currently lives in Redding with his wife, Mary Pat, and raised two children, Bobby and Katie, and various pets. He has been providing personalized, comprehensive dentistry for the entire family since 1987.

With strong ties to the local community, he attendedWiltonHigh Schoolwhere he started the boys swim team, played soccer and ran track. During high school, college, anddentalschool, he worked at Merwin Meadows and Kiwanis Parks as the waterfront director and swim team coach.

Dr, Cieri was married at Our Lady of Fatima. They were active in Newcomers, the OLF MOM's group, and the Wilton Y. They moved to Redding in 1994, and after graduating from helping with their kids sports and school activities, remain active in Redding Neighbors & Newcomers, Sacred Heart Church, Redding Trail Tenders, the Mark Twain Library, Boy Scouts, Ridgefield Ladies Golf League, Redding Garden Club, New Pond Farm, and Trout Unlimited.

Completed Peter Dawson’s series of courses at the Institute for Advanced Dental Studies: Advanced Dental Reconstruction and Implant Dentistry. Dr. Dawson is reputed to be the top dentist in restorative dentistry and full mouth restorations. His year long series of courses enabled Dr. Cieri to become an expert in restoring patient 's mouths to their optimum appearance and function. He worked 'one on one' for an entire year with Dr Dawson treating mutual patients. Dr. Cieri always offers this personalized care to his patients and does not delegate any segment of your treatment to his office assistants. Your personalized care in all aspects is his passion

In 2010, Dr Cieri moved his Wilton office to Georgetown, to a suite with first floor access and a more centralized location for his Wilton, Weston, Redding, Ridgefield, Newtown, and New Canaan patients.

Dr. Cieri served as a Board Member for the local Rotary International Chapter and the Wilton's Chamber of Commerce. He also helped bring new members to Our Lady of Fatima through the RCIA program, and served on the Advisory Board for Wilton High School.

As an Assistant Scoutmaster in Reddings Boy Scout Troop 15, he led high-adventure backpacking trips to the White Mountains of New Hampshire, and taught winter and water survival skills. He was a counselor for the Swimming, Hiking, Camping, Backpacking, Lifesaving Merit Badges, and continues to volunteer at the troop spaghetti fundraising dinners, Klondike Derbies, and camp outs. He is the proud father of an Eagle Scout.

Dr. Cieris liaisons with school officials, vendors, and coaches were instrumental in the re-surfacing of the track at Joel Barlow High School, where he served as the track and cross country booster club president.

He has ushered at Sacred Heart Church and has combined his passions for trail running and volunteering by working as Assistant Trail Manager and Trail Tender for the Saugatuck Falls Nature Area in Redding and tends the Powerline Trail. He looks forward to running fishing clinics for young adults at Topstone Park and volunteering at the Fishing Special Olympics at Merwin Meadows. An active member of Trout Unlimited, he helps with fish releases, fishing clinics, and stream conservation efforts. Lately, he can be seen at Cross Country and Track meets and jogging on his favorite trails--the Barlow Cross Country Trail, (his son, Bobby's Eagle Project), and the Saugatuck Falls Nature Area.

In his spare time, when not adventuring with his grown children, both graduates of the Redding schools, Dr. Cieri enjoys fishing, hiking, backpacking, sea kayaking, running, bicycling, cross country skiing, and reading. Hes a do it yourselfer, and takes pride in maintaining his own home and property, including continually cutting down and splitting storm damaged trees and shoveling snow.

His son, Bobby, graduated from Duke University with a B.S. in Biology and B.A. in Physical Anthropology and after spending 5 months in the Galapagos doing research on Masked Boobies, is now at the U. of UtahEvolutionary Anatomy and Physiology Farmer Lab where he is pursuing a doctorate in Comparative Anatomy and Physiology and teaching Undergraduate Physiology. He spends his free time skiing, hiking, and biking. He spent many summers lifeguarding and finally as Waterfront Director at Topstone Park in Redding.

His daughter, Katie, graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.S. in Biology with a special interest in Marine Biology and Animal Behavior. She was president of TRI SIGMA Sorority and lifeguarded at the UVA Aquatic Center. She was a substitute teacher at JRMS and BARLOW, led field trips in Farm/Bees, Native American Lore, and Freshwater Ecology at New Pond Farm, and worked as a Vet Tech for Dr. Noonan in Weston. For a few summers she was also Waterfront Director atTopstone Park in Redding.Since then she has been traveling the country pursuing research opportunities. She was in Friday Harbor in the San Juan Islands in Puget Sound at the University of Washington Marine Lab doing research on the eating habits of the Sand Lance while watching pods of transient Killer Whales in the Salish Sea. In the winter she cataloged migrating Humpback Whales and rescued stranded sea turtles off the Virginia Capes, and moved on to being a research assistant in Salt Lake City at the University of Utah Farmer Lab researching the breathing habits of Pacific Tarpon. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Marine Biology at Moss Landing, in Monterey, CA.

Dr. Cieri's wife, Mary Pat, is also a graduate of Wilton High School and Duke University, attended graduate school at the University of Wyoming and earned an MBA at the University of Oregon. She was previously active with the Redding PTA and PTSA, but now teaches at New Pond Farm and substitutes in the Redding schools when she is not swimming at the Wilton Y, hitting golf balls in the water at Ridgefield Golf Course, or surveying Horseshoe Crab populations on spring moonlit midnight high tides at Penfield Beach in Fairfield. She loves to sail catamarans and lasers on the sound, bike and ski. She is active in the Redding Garden Club and Kappa Alpha Theta.
