Dr. Tim Logan is a Louisville native. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Louisville. He completed a general practice residency at the VA hospital in Louisville and his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Dr. Logan became an oral surgeon because his roots are in the dentistry world. With his father being a dentist and his brother an oral surgeon, it was a no brainer that he followed in his familys footsteps. He has been practicing dentistry for over 30 years and is excited to join Dr. Mascaro and be a part of the Derby City Oral Surgery family. Dr. Logan has been married for 36 years and has two boys, Tim Jr. and Michael with his wife Denise. Dr. Logan treats his patients like they are family. He knows each patient is different and requires a different dental approach. Dr. Logan is a member of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Kentucky Dental Association and the Louisville Dental Association. During his free time, he enjoys reading, playing golf or watching the University of Louisville Cardinals play.

Had 2 wisdom teeth extracted and never felt like they were pushing to remove all 4. I was a big weenie but they calmed me down and I will absolutely be back if I end up needing the remaining two extracted.

Absolutely 10 out of 10 Rating. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Procedure was quick and painless. Had gotten 2 wisdom teeth removed, and was so pleased with the aftermath. Highly Recommend this place. Great Service!!

I had 2 wisdom teeth pulled here today.. I had been putting off a much needed wisdom tooth extraction when I contacted their office due to a bad experience with another dentist office. Alyssa was very attentive, helpful and genuinely caring over the phone so I decided to set my appointment. My doctor ensured that I had a clear understanding of everything that needed to occur and all of the staff were great as well including Ms. Lisa, Ms. Mary Lou, and Ms. Corey. Thank you Derby City for helping me to put this behind me so I can let that tooth go and move on!

I just left getting my tooth extracted. I want to thank the entire staff. Dr. Logan, Alyssa, Mistie, Mary Lee, and Lisa. I couldn't have asked for better, trustworthy staff. Hopefully this doesn't happen again but if it does I will be back with no hesitation. I highly recommend this office to anyone. They are a awesome group of people. And I can't say thank you all enough for making the process as easy as possible.

Wouldn't let me leave 0 stars. The office people were super friendly however they lost files and x-rays. Was supposed to determine if my daughter's tooth could be moved or if it needed removed Dr Logan told me he would go discuss with orthodontist in person this never happened and the orthodontist just told me that if he had he would have told him to remove the tooth instead of expose it. And it cost more than I was quoted,after waiting for almost a year cause as I stated they lost the X-rays and mistakingly labeled her file as closed. Do not trust these people. Ripped me off good Update: orthodontist has recommended removing the tooth so now I'll have to pay for that on too of the surgery she did not need.

Well worth it. Excellent at the work they do. I had all 4 wisdom teeth extracted at 29 years old. Perfect surgery and perfect recovery. 10/10 recommend

I was having terrible tooth pain and I called to have Dr. Logan pull the tooth but he was out of the office, so I saw Dr. Mascaro. I cannot explain how wonderful my visit was with the Doctor and staff. They got me in the next day. I highly recommend either Dr. Logan or Dr. Mascaro.

Had all of my teeth extracted this morning due to a bone condition in my jawbones that was causing them to loosen and fall.out. Dr Logan extracted the 14 I had left. They are awesome there! I am terrified of dentist after bad experiences in the past, when I went for the consult 2 weeks ago they made me feel at ease. This morning other than normal jitters they again helped me relax. I elected to be put under, i felt nothing and it took just about an hour! I am having very little discomfort now. Great place, wish I had done this years ago now!

This is best place to come for a tooth extraction. Dr. Mascaro is gentle and fast in extracting the tooth. They numb you up well so you don't feel any pain. The staff is friendly and helpful. I have been here in 2018 and 2019 for a tooth extraction. I highly recommend Dr. Mascaro. I just hope he doesn't retire anytime soon.

Dr. Logan and his assistants Marylee and Lisa are the best surgical team. I had a full mouth extraction and never felt anything. The Ladies in the front office are on top of the insurance. I had some minor issue but Brenda stayed with and it was finalized , in my advantage. Lori and Alyssa are friendly and make you feel comfortable in the office. I highly recommend this group for any surgical need.

Dr Mascaro and his staff are not reccomend by me. He rushed through my surgery and it was painful not to mention the swelling was bad. Never got a phone call from him or anyone. Look elsewhere for your oral surgeon
