I have a tremendous respect for dentistry. It is a unique profession that allows me to be an artist, a surgeon, a counselor, and friend all in one person. I love helping my patients feel good about themselves. Many times, it goes beyond dental care. I try to encourage my patients to love themselves, because, in doing so, they take better care of their mouth, and their entire body as well.

I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington, DC in 1986. Since then, I have participated in various continuing education courses. Courses on the latest techniques in restorative dentistry and endodontics help me to provide the best services possible to save teeth rather than having to remove them.

I also attend courses on prosthetic dentistry to increase my knowledge and skills in replacing teeth whenever that is the treatment of choice. My first priority is to help my patients retain all of their teeth for as long as they possibly can. If replacement is necessary, then I want to get them the best prostheses available today.

When Im not working, I love to play golf, work in my yard, and travel. I am also the youth minister at my church, Senatobia Church of Christ, so I spend a lot of time on youth outings. In addition, I am president of my local Optimist Club and an executive council member of Saving Our Sons in Mississippi. I am passionate about encouraging young people to succeed and mentoring them in the right direction.

Being a family dentist is a dream come true for me. I love and enjoy practicing dentistry as well as interacting with my patients. My desire is that everyone that comes through our doors, patient or not, feels extremely welcomed.

I am a confident, fun, and loving person that simply loves what I do. I thoroughly enjoy the immediate gratification of helping to relieve someone of pain or building their confidence by improving their smile. Dentistry is indeed a service, and it is very rewarding to know that I play a part in improving not just someones smile, but their overall quality of life as well.

Before going to dental school, I received my Bachelors of Science in Biology from Jackson State University. After graduating, I entered dental school at the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry earning a Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD). After dental school, I received additional training from New York University College of Dentistrys Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program. During my residency, I was trained in CAD/CAM, implant restorations, treating medically complexed patients, as well as a variety of advanced procedures and treatment options for dental patients.

As a general dentist, I am devoted to lifelong learning and education in dentistry. I am currently taking continuing education courses to stay current on the latest technological advances in dentistry and also to continue to enhance my clinical skills to ensure I am providing exceptional care to my patients.

Some of my favorite ways to contribute to the community outside of the office are mentoring youth, being active in my local church and Optimist Club, and as a part of the Health Sciences Advisory Committee at North Panola Career and Technology Center.

Tommi joined our team in 1994. She can be found assisting our doctors at chairside, taking radiographs and impressions, ordering supplies, and monitoring sterilization, in addition to creating a pleasant atmosphere for our patients to enjoy. Tommi works hard to make sure our patients are pleased and that our team works together to get the job done in a timely manner. Tommi has a daughter and loves to travel, read, and exercise. Shes also an active member of the New Pleasant Hill Church.

Our patients oral health is always at the forefront of Cypriennes mind. As our dental hygienist, she is responsible for providing preventive and maintenance care to ensure our patients teeth stay healthy and beautiful. With us since 1996, Cyprienne enjoys being able to share the many ways to maintain good oral health and the benefits of daily care with children, their parents, and even their grandparents. Cyprienne is the mother of three: two girls and one boy. Outside of work, she is involved in all three childrens activities, from Little League to PTO. She is involved in her church and community activities as well.
