We are fortunate to have a phenomenal team of specialists who provide the best care possible for their patients. Dr. Doug Depew, Dr. Mariesa Moore, and Dr. Ryan Depew each bring their own expertise, passion and enthusiasm to our practice. They collaborate with each other on high-level cases while participating in continued education to stay on the cutting edge of orthodontic treatment.
Dr. Depew and his wife, Vicki, have three wonderful children, Andrew, Ashley and Ryan and six incredible grandchildren. And in his spare time, he enjoys working with his horses, computers and various outdoor activities.
Dr. Depew is also the founder and Academic Director ofTrapezio, which provides formal training for orthodontic staff members. This innovative program which is conducted online and through hands-on clinical sessions is endorsed by the Amccan Association of Orthodontists and is recognized internationally as the standard for training and certification of orthodontic staff members. As the program creator, Dr. Depew is frequently invited to speak at professional meetings around the country and overseas.
Besides being a sought after lecturer, Dr. Depew takes two to three times the required hours of continuing education each year. He is an active member in of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southern Association of Orthodontists, and the Georgia Association of Orthodontists, the American Lingual Orthodontic Association, the Spear Dental Study Club, and the Elite Lingual Orthodontic Society.
Dr. Moore is a devoted UGA fan and loves to head back to Athens whenever possible to cheer on the georgia bulldogs! A few of her hobbies include traveling and outdoor activities including kayaking and playing tennis. She also enjoys spending time with her family, friends and Weimaraner dog Raven!
Throughout school, Dr. Depew has been heavily involved in serving the community. He served as the community outreach chair of his dental class and has provided hundreds of hours serving through the Big Brothers program, Give Kids a Smile, Missions of Mercy, and providing dental care at community clinics. Dr. Depew is active in his profession through membership in the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Southern Association of Orthodontists, and the Georgia Association of Orthodontists
After many, many years of school in pursuit of becoming an orthodontist with his Dad, he is finally back in his hometown where he is thrilled to be able to serve his community and raise his family in the good ol south.

The team has received technical training from a variety of dental and orthodontic fields, and provides the highest level of service available. Dr. Depews team constantly receives training on the newest techniques in orthodontics, which keeps them up-to-date and able to serve you best.
Depew Orthodontics is the only practice granted Academy of Orthodontic Assisting Gold Certification in our area. This means you can rest assured that the clinicians working in your mouth have the highest level of training available. And with an average of 10 years with Depew Orthodontics, the level of experience is outstanding.

Ashley joined us in January 2019. She Grew up in Carrollton, GA and attended The University of West Georgia for two years, then transferred to Kennesaw State University and graduated with a degree in Biology. Ashley loves science and expanding her knowledge in the dental field- she wants to go to dental school! In her free time, she likes to paint, do anything outdoors, and spends time with her friends and family. The best part of her job is the excitement of when a patient comes in and knowing that they get to experience the positive transformation that orthodontics can provide!
Alyssa is the newest addition to the AOA team and metro Atlanta native. She graduated from Kennesaw State University and continued her education in Aberdeen, Scotland were she dedicated her studies to helping promote alternative forms of education and encouraging public engagement. Alyssa has a passion for helping others and learning. When she's not helping around the office, you can find her hanging out with her sisters, volunteering, or traveling.

I don't think I can write enough good things about Depew! My daughter has extreme anxiety and has always struggled with people messing with her mouth. Since day 1 we have been treated with care to make my daughter feel comfortable. She has freaked out annd had total melt downs in office and they have always talked to her and made her comfortable to continue. Beyond thankful for Bre since 2020 who has been our go to! Today Shannon gave my daughter a pep talk and Dr. Ryan dealt with her so perfectly she was able to make it through her exam with her expander. Thank you all again!

My son had a consultation for braces, office is beautiful, staff are great... Treatment coordinator was super sweet with my 7 year old. Dr. Ryan did a great job explaining future treatment for my son. Highly recommended

My orthodontist is amazing! Even after getting all my braces off and new Invisalign retainers and my husband and I saying goodbye with hugs to my nurse Meagan, after 3 1/2 years of orthodontic work at Depews orthodontics they surprised us with a gift in the mail 2 weeks later for our baby boy Jasper, since they knew he was really close to being due around the time I got my braces taken off two weeks ago!

What can I say one of the best place, great service, I can remember 2019 we were getting ready to go on a cruise and it was the Saturday before we leave and my daughter was having some issues with her mouth and Dr Depew cane in the office and took care of Kayla!! Love this place

Everyone in the office is so kind and friendly. The office is clean and welcoming. I would recommend this office to anyone looking for an orthodontist. I started going to the Kennesaw office for aligners after my son finished his treatments.

As a dental hygienist, I am picky about who I chose for my child's orthodontic needs. Depew Orthodontics was definitely the place for us! They have a caring and pleasant staff, very clean office, and stay up to date with the latest equipment and techniques. The orthodontists have the ability to think outside of the box, so they can treat even very unique cases. As a dental professional, I recommend these guys for my patients and my own family!

Wonderful office filled with the nicest people! Had to bring my two kids in for my appointment and the staff was so helpful entertaining them while I had my appointment. Dr. Depew is very knowledgeable and updated on the newest methods/products in the industry. Overall a wonderful experience, I can't wait to go back!

Saw my daughter who is 12. She has some alignment and gap issues coupled with she had a gnarly jaw infection and wound up in CHOA last year for surgery and an extraction despite regular ongoing dental care. They watch her development and they didn't try to sell us on braces because she still has some baby teeth. I felt confident that they're not trying to just make money off of us like some might given her alignment and they want to take a wait and see approach as she grows. She will continue to go every half a year to the office for checks. Thank you.

The whole staff are extremely friendly, listen to you, and are very thorough with all their explanations. They also really care about the children and making sure they are comfortable and understand everything as well. I was very impressed with this office!

Hi My first visit to the Doctor Depew was very exciting . Brooke Macurak my treatment coordinator was very helpful and professional . This is my first time in life writing an review online because I have never had bad service like this before. So I have done consultation with them in November 2020 and got the quotes from them which is way higher than other orthodontist in town but I still decided to go with them since this place was like 5 mins from my house. While consultation I have explain them my concern and they told me that my braces will come out in summer of 2021.I have paid money In December 2020 at once but trust me the price I paid 5k+. I was asking them in every visit that are we on same page of getting my braces out in summer and they always said yes. On May of 2021, they told me that they still need couple more months for braces to come out since the teeth is not straighten and we have not met the requirement of my concern. I was okay with that. In October, they told they still want some more time. I am still okay with it even thought I travel for work with brace which is very embracing and I had to wear brace in my best friends wedding. Finally my braces came out in February of 2022 and still my teeth is not straighten. The actual timeframe they gave me was for 7-8 months but they took 14 months for my braces and still works is not done even after I send all this time and money. Just for curiosity, I asked them how much they will charge me for Invisalign since I can not wear brace everyday because of my client facing work schedule, they told me 3K+ for the invisalign. So moral of the story. Depew Orthodontist has business of money and lies. Never give you commitment of their work and only will take money from you. NEVER RECOMMAND THIS PLACE

They are always so nice at this office. Everyone is so welcoming and always in a good mood. Each doctor, assistant, front desk, manager and tx coordinator(all of them) I have met, have been amazing I look forward to my visits. Depew Orthodontics is definitely top tier!
