Our dental practice in the heart of downtown Denver has served patients since 1999, but our experience in dentistry goes back much further. Dr. Gary Radz and our team of talented dental professionals cover just about every phase of general dentistry and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Kissinger received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Psychology from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). He then went on to complete Dental School at UCLA where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. Upon graduation Dr. Kissinger completed an additional year of post-graduate studies and clinical experience by completing a General Practice Residency at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Denver Colorado.
Dr. Thompson specializes in sleep disorder management and also travels around the country doing exams on military. Dr. Thompson also travels the country giving military troops dental exams before they are deployed to other countries.
Known internationally for his experience incosmetic dentistry, Dr. Gary Radz is respected by local celebrities who come to him for a dazzling smile, as well as dental institutes in the US and abroad who call upon him to teach their dentists how to perform the newest procedures in cosmetic dentistry. His career as a dentist showed a brilliance in the field, and through his steadfast dedication in creating the best smiles possible for all his patients, he has earned a position of respect among other dental colleagues who call him a dentists dentist.
Dr. Radz has been listed in 5280 Magazine as one of Denvers Best Dentists. His experience in dentistry has been recognized by local and national media, and he has had the privilege of being interviewed by the New York Times, the Chicago Tribune, the Denver Post, the Rocky Mountain News, the Boulder Camera, the Charlotte Observer, Wild Blue Yonder, and Parenting Magazine. Dr. Radz has been asked to be a contributing editor to Denvers BLOOM and SHINE magazines. Additionally, he has appeared on WBTV and Denvers 9News.
Over the past 16 years, Dr. Radz has presented at many regional, national, and international meetings. To date, he has given over 500 presentations in nine countries on four continents. He has presented at the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistrys annual meeting 15 years in a row and in 2006, he was a featured speaker at the American Dental Associations Annual Meeting. In the 2004 through 2011 issues of Dentistry Today, Dr. Radz was named as one of the Top Speakers in Continuing Education. Dr. Radz was recognized for the 5th time in 5 years in 5280 magazine in their Denver Top Dentists list.
Dr. Radz has written more than 150 articles on cosmetic dentistry materials and techniques, and he serves on the editorial board of seven dental journals, including the Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry. He has served as the editor-in-chief of Mentor and ACEsthetics magazines. In 2003 and 2011, he was the chairman of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistrys annual scientific meeting, responsible for the educational format of over 2000 of the worlds most dedicated cosmetic dental experts. In 2008 and 2012, he was program chairman for the Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics annual meeting.Dr. Radz has also developed a reputation as an excellent photographer. His photography is used by manufacturers and dental laboratories for promotion and education. All the photographs on this website were taken by Dr. Radz, and they feature patients of his practice. Dr. Radzs photography has made the cover of several dental journals, including the Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Because of his long experience in cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Radz began to share his knowledge by teaching dental courses. For the last 16 years, Dr. Radz has lectured internationally oncosmetic dentistry. He has also served as an instructor for the Institute for Advanced Studies in Esthetic Dentistry, Ross Nash Seminars, and the Aesthetic Advantage programs. He was invited to become an instructor for prestigious Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies. Dr.Radz is currently an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Colorado School of Dentistry in the Department of Restorative Dentistry, where he is helping with thecosmetic dentistrycourses for third- and fourth-year dental students. He has been a trainer for dental manufacturers, to educate other dentists on how to use new materials and equipment properly. For the 10 years, Dr. Radz served on the REALITY Publishing Editorial Board, which evaluates new materials and equipment in dentistry, then publishes the results to help dentists and their patients benefit from the latest in dental technology. For the past 3 years he has worked with Catapult as a product evaluator and as a mentor to dentists looking to get into dental education.
Well vested in the professional dental community, Dr. Radz is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, Metro Denver Dental Society, and Colorado Prosthodontic Society. He is a sustaining member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) and a founding member of both the Canadian Academy for Esthetic Dentistry and Colorado Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. In 2004, Dr. Radz was awarded fellowships from the Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics and the International Academy of Dental-Facial Esthetics. Dr. Radz was recognized as Denver Top Dentists list in 5280 magazine for the year 2004, 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011.

Switched dentist offices to Denver Place Dentistry for convenient proximity to my office. Had an old filling re-filled. Two-weeks later it was still sensitive so I popped in the office unannounced. Within 5 minutes I was sitting in a chair and Dr. Radz was sanding down the filling. Two days later, pain-free bite! Pretty cool they are willing to perform impromptu. 5 stars.

Everyone was friendly and efficient. It was a first/new patient consultation, so haven't had any work done yet, but my interactions with the team were very reassuring. Everyone was knowledgeable and professional and that place ran like clockwork!

I have been a patient with Denver Place Dentistry for many years and always receive the best of care and service from the excellent front office staff and the medical team. I recently had oral surgery (extraction and implant) with Dr. Kissinger and his surgical assistant Beca who were superb. The procedure was well planned and went very well. Post operative pain is manageable with Advil and there has been only minor swelling. If you are searching for a practice for your oral care DPD is one of the best!

Dr. Gary Radz has changed my life by changing my smile. I had 3 crowns that needed to be replaced, and I never liked how my crowns didn't match my other teeth. Dr. Radz replaced 3 crowns and 5 veneers. I have never been so happy with my results. I have more confidence in my smile than I ever did before. Dr. Radz was incredibly thorough with a number of post op check ups. I would never trust me teeth with someone else. Cleanings are even a pleasant time spent there. His kind nature, professionalism and precision are hard to find. Dr. Radz and his team are truly the best out there!

I am among Gary's first patients; seeing him since '99 when his Denver practice opened on the 2nd floor. He helped complete a difficult crown for me that another dentist had started. He gave me incredible attention--giving me his personal phone number in case I needed it and meeting me in his office on a Saturday morning to be sure my crown was right! His new office is beautiful and scenic; old and new downtown Denver. You are definitely in good care with this practice and you can count on them for good advice with your questions.

Short review: Dr Radz does amazing work and I highly recommend him . Longer review follows : I recently had the misfortune of a prominent upper front tooth veneer partially disintegrating. This isolated tooth issue precipitated a reassessment of my dental issues in general as the veneer in question and several crowns are over 25 years old.!(The expected life expectancy of a crown is 15 yearsI learned.). I decided I would replace several crowns and a couple of veneers as well as add veneers to a couple of teeth not currently veneered. However before I could have that work done I need to address some TMJ issues and that will take several months. I was troubled by the fact that in the meantime there would be several months where I would have an unsightly prominent tooth with approximately half of the surface gone. Dr Radz offered the option of doing a temporary repair of the compromised veneer which would blend in with the part of the veneer already remaining. I decided to have this procedure done so I wouldn't be self-conscious of a flawed smile until I could have that more extensive work done.I was absolutely amazed when Dr Radz was done with the repair process how perfect the section that was repaired/replaced blended in with the portion of the veneer that was still intact. No other person looking at my smile would perceive there was the slightest flaw in the repaired tooth. Having had this procedure done instilled in me even greater confidence than I already had in Dr Radz and enhanced my certainty that when I have the more extensive planned work done, it will be absolutely perfect. It's so reassuring to know when one is going to have some fairly substantial dental work done at a not inconsequential cost, the results will be well worth the cost. I have spoken to so many people who opted for a so-called "bargain" dentist and ended up with very mediocre results. Dr Radz is rated very highly and his skill and artistry more than justify any costs above the mediocre "bargain" alternatives. There's a lot to be said of "getting what you pay for" when you pay for the best and the best is what you get. Thanks Dr. Radz and a special thank you to your equally skilled assistants and staff. I sometimes have to remind myself I deserve the best and I am especially happy when I actually receive it!
