Dr Terada makes it as quick and painless as possible. She never tries to upsell/pressure you into other expensive treatments, like a "deep cleaning" or other weird stuff the chain-dentistry places try to convince you you need. Staff is friendly and trustworthy.

I went to Denver Family Dental in September for a routine cleaning. During the cleaning, Dr. Terada cut the gum on my molar pretty significantly. It bled profusely and she apologized. Later that night, the cut on my gum became infected. Four days later, my gum had swollen to three times its size and I was in excrutiating pain. I went back in for an emergency visit and Dr. Terada acknowledged that I had developed a gum infection from the cut. She even had to remove an abscess that had formed. She packed it with antibiotics and I left. Two months later, I received a bill for $132 for the emergency exam (that was due to her mistake) and the antibioitc. Not only did they bill me for HER mistake, but now I've called twice and they are refusing to return my call to discuss the bill and charges. Definitely avoid this place!

The staff here are great! Very friendly and always willing to help out, even with a last minute request. I would highly recommend them - I've been going here for over 5 years and I haven't had a bad experience!

I have been going to Dr. Terada for 16 years and have had no complaints. The staff has always been friendly and receptive when I visit and I actually enjoy getting my teeth cleaned, which is saying a lot!

Interesting to learn. If you're a new customer they will collect your insurance information ahead of your visit, but not run it to see what services are covered. Then they will bill you for anything that gets rejected by insurance. There are two different ways to learn what someones dental insurance covers - but they choose not to do this for new customers. This is poor customer service and I won't be back.

Girls behind the counter more interested in gossiping than helping customers. Sharing pictures on their phone while I waited. My 8am appointment was actually an 8:30 because they ignored me.
