Wow! What a crew they have. I just resumed my treatments after the partial reopening. I was the only patient, I had my temperature checked, then hands sanitized, every one was in masks and all safety measures were covered. Bravo! I was only nervous about my procedure. But I just have to acknowledge the women and their such kinds words and professionalism. Although you all were so covered in masks, shields and I probably won't recognize you again......you all were just terrific. Your team work, your attitudes and your little bit of humor always make me comfortable and I am so impressed. The receptionists at the front desk...always remember me and it's like talking to friends. Of course the dentists themselves.......I'm so glad you both have wonderful caring hearts. Thank you for taking such good care of me.

I have had issues with my teeth since I was a child and was missing a number of permanent teeth. As an adult I still had 6 baby teeth that needed replaced. The solution was dental implants, but I was very afraid of the process. My implant dentist recommended Dr. Frye. During our first meeting Dr. Frye was very thorough and presented a plan that addressed my concerns. I felt instantly comfortable with all the staff which put my mind at ease. Dr. Frye pays great attention to detail, which shows in his work. My crowns turned out really well and I now have the smile I have always wanted. If you are searching for a new dentist, I highly recommend Dr. Frye.

I liked my old dentist and had been seeing him for over 10 years. I went in for routine cleanings and quick exams. We moved back into the area and Dr. Frye came highly recommended to us. After my first visit I can see why! It was a very thorough examination. Not only did he perform an oral cancer screening, he checked my gums, bone levels and old fillings. He even took photos of my teeth. He brought me back to discuss the findings and show me the photos. I was not happy. :-( I had an old filling that was actually broken in half and one of my old mercury fillings was leaking so badly the white tooth was turning black. I was surprised I had no pain from these issues. Dr. Frye informed me that when a tooth finally hurts the nerve is irritated and the tooth may die. I now understand that pain is not a good indicator of dental health. He said it is better to fix the problem before it hurts but it is ultimately my decision to decide how to proceed. Dr. Frye said it is his job to inform me of my dental condition and anything less on his part would be unacceptable. I am very disappointed that my old dentist said everything was fine. The proof was in the photos that he took of my teeth. His photos don't lie! I am so happy to have found Dr. Frye and highly recommend him!

Dr. Frye has an extremely welcoming and professional practice from the minute you walk in. I first visited his office to have a broken tooth taken care of, but have since had mercury cavities replaced as well. It is always a tremendous feeling to leave an appointment with the upmost confidence in the plan of care, execution, and follow up service provided. Definitely had that at Dentonics with Dr. Frye! Will definitely be a lifelong client now.

One of Dr. Frye's greatest strengths is the way he proceeds with treatment - 1. Thorough examination and explanation of what he sees, 2. Objective overview of options and estimated cost(s), 3. Explanation of procedure(s) after mutually determining the course of action, 4. Informative explanations during the procedure(s). Combining his expertise with his personable approach along with his competent, pleasant, and supportive staff makes recommending him to family and friends a must.

Recently I had a dental emergency that required immediate attention. Not only did Dr. Frye fit me into his already busy schedule, he took the time to reconstruct my tooth, taking the time to ensure the color and shape of the tooth matched my other teeth. Dr. Frye rebuilt my smile and took a stressful and unfortunate event and fashioned it into a good ending. I highly recommend him as a skilled and professional provider.

Dr. Frye always takes the time to explain any procedures that I need done, and to show me why I need them. I don't trust easily, and I have had some bad dental experience in the past, but Dr. Frye has earned my trust. It is a long drive to the office for me, but it's worth it to know that things are being done right. I also know that the experience will be pain free, as even Novocain injections are administered with such skill that I never even feel them. I also like that they take the time to explain what I need to be doing on my own to care for my teeth properly, and to show me how to do it. At other offices I have felt rushed, and it was obvious to me that the bottom line was more important than the patient, but Dentonics makes it obvious that their first priority is patient care.

I rarely take the time to write reviews but I couldn't miss an opportunity to share my amazing experience with Dr. Charles Frye of Dentonics. Recommended to me by a colleague, I did my research and found that Dr. Frye has advanced training in cosmetic dentistry. Although the office is a healthy drive (1 hour) from my home in Canonsburg, I decided the investment in my smile was worth it. Turns out I would have driven across the state for the experience I had! I had a lot of work to be done - some things were needed and others elective. 3 old crowns had to be replaced, and although it seemed like a lot of work, it had to be done. The good news is they were such ugly crowns that I was hopeful he could improve the appearance - the colors were off and didn't match, and they had a black line above the crown where it met the gum. Even though they weren't in front, they still showed when I smiled and I could see them in photos. Yuck. Along with the necessary crown replacements, I also had opportunities for smile improvement. I could elect to do 2 veneers near the new crowns which would widen and improve my smile, or I could do invisalign, or of course I could choose to do nothing other than the crowns. Dr. Frye took his time reviewing my options, informing me of the positives and negatives of each choice, in language I could understand. It was clear that Dr. Frye and his office use advanced techniques that make a huge difference - no old metal crowns with bad color and black lines, instead they are beautiful ceramic crowns that look like the rest of my teeth! And a bonus is they are mercury free, and they use special protocol when removing the old mercury fillings. I was truly torn as to which elective procedure to do - invisalign or veneers? (I decided that doing nothing wasn't an option - I had to take advantage of the opportunity to improve my smile). Dr. Frye was beyond patient during these conversations with absolutely no pressure. He genuinely wanted me to make the best decision for me. His knowledge and obvious attention to detail was incredibly reassuring. I finally decided on the veneers. All work (3 crown replacements and 2 veneers) was done in one day! It was pain free (even the numbing injection didn't hurt one bit!). Then one more visit to get the permanents, and done! I could not be happier with the results and find myself smiling even more than I used to, confident and happy to know I have no black lines or crowns that stand out like a sore thumb. Everything looks beautiful, natural and perfect. I am so thankful I decided to do it and beyond thrilled I found Dr. Frye and his amazing staff at Dentonics. You will be too! One more thing, it just so happened there was a dental resident from a local residency program observing the day I had the work done. It was obvious that the advanced techniques used by Dentonics were new to her, apparently more up to date than what she just learned in Dental School. It was another reminder that the advanced cosmetic training from Dr. Frye makes a huge difference. Scary to think I could have chosen another dentist and ended up with ugly crowns that looked just like my old ones!

Dr. Frye and his staff provide first class treatment. I have had several different procedures and always had positive results. He has even solved my snoring problem and now I don't have anymore bruises on my side thanks to my wife's elbow!! You wont find a better staff or dentist in the Pittsburgh area.
