A native Texan, Dr. Brandon Carroll was born and raised in Arlington, Texas. Dr. Carroll earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Texas A&M University and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas at Houston Dental Branch. Dr. Carroll then moved to the Midwest, where he attended the University of Iowa, completing a rigorous two-year specialty program in the practice of Endodontics. Following the completion of his specialty training, Dr. Carroll remained at the University of Iowa Dental School as a full-time faculty member in the Department of Endodontics. During his tenure, Dr. Carroll taught dental students, residents specializing in endodontics, and local dentists how to perform root canal treatment using the most current and advanced techniques and materials. Dr. Carroll found his faculty position to be very rewarding and enjoyed the opportunity to pass on his knowledge and expertise to others in the dental field.
Seeking a return to his home state of Texas, Dr. Carroll opened Denton Endodontics, focusing on what he is most passionate about in dentistry, patient care. Dr. Carroll continually strives to treat his patients with not only the highest level of clinical care possible but also with a compassionate understanding that puts his patients at ease. Dr. Carroll views each patient as an individual and recognizes that they have unique needs. He enjoys taking the time to educate his patients about their specific condition, their treatment needs, and the overall treatment process.
Dr. Carroll is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, or in other words, he is Board Certified. This is a distinction that less than 20% of currently practicing endodontists can claim. Dr. Carroll is proud to have obtained this status, as he feels that it exhibits his commitment to the profession of endodontics and to his patients. Dr. Carroll is also a participating member in American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Denton County Study Club.
When not in the office, Dr. Carroll enjoys spending time with his family, his wife Leslie, and his son Everett. Dr. Carroll also thinks his dog June is pretty special. Dr. Carroll also enjoys outdoor photography, bass fishing, playing softball, and cheering on the DFW sports teams.

I highly recommend Dr. Carroll and the friendly staff at Denton Endodontics. Root canals are often dreaded, but the folks put me at ease. Everyone was helpful and explained what was going to happen, what was happening, and what to expect. Dr. Carroll was happy to answer my weird questions and gave me lots of background on my condition and the dentistry behind it. A great experience and an endodontics practice I would see again ( if I needed).

Dr. Carroll is very professional and extremely knowledgeable. He uses the latest and best materials. His assistant, Madeline, is also proficient . The entire staff is kind, friendly, and very dedicated to making a root canal as pleasant and comforting as possible. I am so grateful for their care!!!

DR Carroll and his team were really nice and super professional, I had my first ever root canal there and went in with a little anxiety but they made me feel very comfortable and at ease, the procedure was quick and painless. They even called me a week later to check in on me to see how I was doing. That is awesome and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs the help.

Wonderful experience! Front desk was so helpful to get my appointment set and provide the insurance coverage info and cost estimate. Dr Carroll has a great chair side manner while explaining step by step what was coming next. This REALLY helped by anxiety. This procedure was virtually pain free! He and his assistant Mattie are a great team! I highly recommend Dr Carroll and his team when you need a root canal. Thank you, Dr Carroll and staff at Denton Endodontics.

WOW! I don't know where to start describing how painless and easy this experience was! I found my 1st visit with Dr. J. Brandon Carroll to be everything and more the reviews say he is! Dr Carroll , knowing my fears of even being there, took the time to help me relax and kept reassuring me during the procedure how well i was doing! Before i knew it... the entire process was over ... and totally painless!!!! This is day 2 and i've not had to take anything for pain since i walked out because there hasn't been any! I did take an Aleve just to get a jump on the pain i was told i might experience but I haven't had it !!! I would have to say Dr. Carroll is probably the best in his field! Thank you to Dr.Doug McAdams for the referral. Denton is so lucky to have such a skilled and compassionate specialist as Dr Brandon Carroll.

I recently went to Denton Endodontics for a root canal. Dr. Carroll and his team were lovely. They encouraged me to speak up if I felt any pain- when I did, they stopped the procedure immediately to give me an additional anesthetic. I definitely recommend this office!

Great experience. My dentist recommended Dr. Carrol. I could not have been more pleased with the service from start to finish. Extremely professional and accommodating. I would definitely recommend and go back myself. The entire staff was great.

This was the most pleasant experience I've ever had between a dentist and Endodontist. Everybody was very friendly, professional, informative and overall very attentive give to my needs. During my procedure, Dr. Carrol checked on me and even made a few jokes! The entire staff was phenomenal and I will not go anywhere else going forward!!

"My root canal was awesome," said no one ever...UNTIL NOW! With the stigma that so many have about "root canals," I'm pretty sure Doctor Carroll and his staff don't get many reviews like this. But then again, maybe they do since the experience I had was unlike any I've had before. Not that I've had root canal work done before...but I HAVE had a ton of work done as Doctor Carroll probably noticed while he was working away. From the welcoming smile and "hello" from Christina at the front desk, to the professionalism and communication of the details that Lana, his "right hand," aka, Dental assistant, explained to me, and most importantly, to Doctor Carroll's attention to my "comfort," easing any anxiety I may have had, right down to his "craftsmanship of his craft." EVERYTHING, and I mean literally EVERYTHING was nothing less than 5-star. I thought everyone out there, that may be going through this for the first time, like I did, would like to know this. Thank you, Doctor Carroll and team, for an amazing first-time experience and a GREAT job. BTW, I know every experience is different, but I had no pain what-so-ever after the anesthesia wore off. I did, however, sleep from 5 pm through the night, until about 8:30 the next morning. Guess it kind of took its toll on me. Feel GREAT today!

I was in significant pain on a Thursday and my dentist said I needed a root canal so he recommended Dr. Carroll. Dr Carroll and his staff are exceptional. They worked me into their schedule that afternoon so I didn't have to work the weekend in pain. Everyone was very kind, friendly and professional. Dr Carroll explained the process for my root canal, kept me updated on what he was doing while he worked, and sent me home with everything I needed. I have had root canals before with other endodontists and this was the best experience I could have hoped for.

I was recommend to Denton Endodontics by my dentist, Gary Taylor when I was in need of a root canal. Every member of their staff was polite, friendly and helpful. I first spoke to Christina who was very receptive and scheduled me an appointment quickly. Allyse (not sure if that is the correct spelling) and Mr. Carroll brought a lighthearted humor to a uncomfortable situation (getting a root canal) which I appreciated and Darlene helped me communicate with my pharmacy to get my prescription in on time. As long as I live in Denton I will continue to use their office when needed.
