Dr. Shimaneis one of the Volunteer Dentists. She graduated from St. Josephs University and obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She joinedDOWbecause she realized her dental niche is in public health and using her skills to help the underserved population.
Dr. Farzanehis a volunteer Oral Surgeon. He graduated from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. He then completed a four-year oral and maxillofacial residency program at Highland General Hospital/ University of the Pacific. He is also currently on staff at John Muir Medical Center, a major trauma center in the Bay Area. He volunteers abroad in Haiti and Guatemala by providing extractions of kid's infected baby teeth. Bringing his volunteerism effort locally, he has joined DOW to heal as many as he can in his community.
Dr. Hoch is our Volunteer Endodontist. She graduated from UC Irvine and obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the State University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in Buffalo, NY, following with training in Endodontics at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. She joined DOW because she realizes she is fortunate to have a skill that allows her to be of service to others.
Dr. Rainerois a Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is a member of numerous professional societies including the American Dental Association and the Contra Costa Dental Society. He has
been in private practice in Walnut Creek for over 25 years. Dr.Rainerois on the Active Medical Staff of John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek and has helped develop,establishand coordinates the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Trauma Service.
