Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.
Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is an advanced, proven technology that provides more precise three-dimensional (3D) imaging for more accurate diagnosis and treatment of oral health conditions. 3D dental X-rays can uncover issues that may not be detectable with 2D X-rays. By making images easier to see, its helpful in gaining a better understanding of oral health conditions and suggested treatment.

I had a great experience visiting Denstists of Tucson. They were able to explain everything and made sure I understood the work I needed, Michelle was my dental assistant she made me feel comfortable and was super friendly. Definitely recommend this place!

I would like to start by saying that everyone I meet is very, professional, friendly, and understanding. I disabled and use a wheelchair. Since COVID has disrupted my exercising, I need help getting my wheelchair out of my car. When I arrive, I called and Nichole came out to help with my wheelchair, she was very polite, caring and understanding. I was escorted back for ex-rays and then into a room. Kathy came in bubbly, as the procedure went on, I found her to be extremely professional, polite, caring, and personable. After my procedure, Nicole helped me put my wheelchair in my car. Overall, I have never had a bad experience at the Dentist of Tucson and every employee that I have come in contact with over the years has always been very professional and polite.
