Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. The new hygienist Akila that saw me was really bad. She hurt my gums and my experience was just one of the worst times ever. Summer used to see me and I heard she left which is such a big loss for this place and all the patients that saw her like me. This office will not get anyone better than her because I personally have been put with multiple hygienists through out my life and she was the only one that made me feel very comfortable and actually looking forward to my appoitments when I am usually terrified of the dentists and getting cleanings done. I will not be returning unless I hear summer returned. This office does not care about what their patients want though and they will put you with anyone.

I was looking for a new dentist and went there for some pain in my implant. They hurried to schedule me for a consult with the periodondist, who is only there once a month. She planned to do a surgery the next time she was there a month later, while I took antibiotics for the pain. They emailed me to confirm my appointment, which I did. Then they tried calling me to confirm AGAIN, but I am very hard to reach. When I called back, I found they had CANCELED my surgery! They never even let me know that it was canceled. I waited a month for this surgery that never happened. I don't know how they stay in business.

If I could give a no stars I would. I have been going to this Dental office & all was good until it was not. Yesterday I had an appointment to have my teeth cleaned. I schedule my appointments with the same dental hygiene, due to I have very sensitive teeth. I arrived for my noon appointment yesterday the office proceeded to have another dental hygiene do my cleaning. I said noway. I was so stressed, upset because I all could think is how bad it's going to be seen by someone else that has no idea that I the phobia, fear & anxiety all at once of how my teeth are going to hurt. I proceeded to let them know that I had scheduled my appt with the same person that I had seen in the past. They proceeded to get that dental hygiene & I told her my appointment was scheduled with her. She proceeded to say that I could waite & they would try to fit me in. Why should I have to waite when I already had the appointment? I LEFT. This experience shows me how this dental office is all about making money not the care or treatment of their patients. How do you switch the patient to another dental hygiene without asking the patient 1st if it's okay? Me & my husband are now looking for another dentist.

I have been a patient of doctor Emad for over a year and him and his staff are very professional and caring for their patients. Doctor Emad provided clear explanations and is gentle while taking care of you. I strongly recommend dentist of Riverview. It is definitely an A+ dental care facility

Making an appointment was easy!! I got in the next week as a new patient! Today I was greeted by Esmeralda who explained the process of complete x-rays as she expertly took a series of views! Next I was escorted to an immaculately clean examination room and was greeted by Dr Barakat who did a thorough exam! He was professional and patient, answering all of my questions. I was placed on a reasonable maintenance program! Sean, the office manager came in and TOTALLY explained my insurance dental benefits and I knew immediately what my cost would be! Summer then escorted me to the hygiene suite and did a thorough cleaning and fluoride application. She explained each step, was patient and thorough AND no pain!! I am so pleased to highly recommend this awesome practice conveniently located just off of Big Bend Road!!!

Anthony is my hygienist and he is awesome! Very professional and did an amazing job. At the front desk they are so attentive, always answer my questions and the doctors give recommendations for treatments, explain everything so well. Excellent service.
