An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

I'm terrified to go to a dentist because the sound of drilling, and past experiences etc... Let me tell you, I was comfortable. The Staff was friendly, and knowledgeable. The building was articulate, and the atomesphere was welcoming. My teeth are the cleanest they've ever been. The Best Experience I've had at a dentist in my life. I highly recommend, and am personally looking forward to my next cleaning.

I will recommend them to anyone who asks! The office is very clean, well organized and the front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. I'm crazy about Dr. Dragemor (Dr. Dra), Shay, Jessica and all of the other clinicians who have treated me with such respect and kindness. I'm truly grateful for all of you! See you soon.

Wonderful and beautiful experience. Both my decaying tooth were gone and my teeth are healthy now. The doctor that took care of me have a very gentle hands like an angel that I didn't feel the pain. I'll recommend your service to my friends and relatives.

I'll start by saying the the staff is very friendly.... However, I gave them $500.00 for for a partial that was never finished. They didn't even bother to call the sent an email a month and half later. NOW... I get 12 phone calls a day an out a $98 payment I didn't make. Why on God's green earth would I give more money when I have nothing in return. I didn't even a get a tooth brush.There is no one in their right mind who'd give them more money for nothing.

Worst experience I've ever had in a dental office , took off all day to have x-rays and a basic cleaning , waited in the waiting room for 45 minutes the xray tech was nice and professional just to sit alone in room for an hour , long story short I waited 3 hours to get told they were short staffed and overbooked and I needed to reschedule a cleaning, mind you I agreed to pay for all upgraded services I have not 1 cavity and just wanted a basic teeth cleaning they told me there was no way they could have it done And me out by 3pm I waited since 10:30 the male dentist is rude and totally unprofessional.Would never recommend, even asked to have copies of my x-rays so I can get a cleaning elsewhere and have yet to receive them .

I won't be returning to Dentists of Port Charlotte. On 5/4/2022 I had an emergency appointment. I was told I will have to wait two hours after arriving for my appointment and "I was lucky to get this appointment and they tried to cancel it but were unable to" I subsequently needed root canal and had to be sent to another office in Estero to complete the procedure. If my dentist won't accommodate me in an emergency and let me sit there in excruciating pain they are of no use to me.

I'm torn about this review. I have never given a 3 star before. This place is amazing...they got me in and did everything in one day that no other dentist or periodontist could have done....however, the issues came with the procedure....I sat in a chair for nearly 2 1/2 hours trying to get 1 tooth pulled with nothing more than a numbing shot and a whole lot of pain...I am 43 yrs old and survived the marine corps....this was by far the worst pain I've ever been in.....and after nearly, no lie, passing out...I had to stop the procedure and ask if they could knock my out....after 2.5 hrs....her reply was...NOPE......so pick you poison wisely people

Nobody likes to go to the dentist but if you do have to go this is the place to go from start to finish everyone was professional yet personable and kind. Dr. Diaz is extremely efficient as well as understanding and empathetic and her assistant Jessica make for a dynamic duo who work quite seemlessly together. They're confident competent and compassionate. Lastly their facility is convenient, immaculately clean, and their equipment is state of the art. They provide patient oriented care unlike any I've ever experienced. I cannot express how grateful I am and what an excellent experience I had. Bless you all.

Dentists of Port Charlotte is all around one of the best offices I have ever been (not just dentists). The ladies at the front are absolutely knowledgeable, patient, upfront, and very helpful. I saw an unfortunate conversation with an unhappy customer and they were very professional, patient, calm and informing. I have a series of 4 appointments for a broken tooth including, temp crown, root canal, possible crown lengthening and crown and every doctor I have had has made me feel comfortable, informed and I walked away entirely satisfied. Dentists are scary for me but I have had nothing but an amazing experience. THANK YOU!

I have had nothing but a bad experience here. I was a new patient in February and during my initial appointment I was kept for TWO hours. Aside from the endless waiting in dental rooms, Dr Leonard continued to try to upsell me and the hygienist who did my cleaning was having a conversation with someone else outside of the room therefor not paying attention to the work she was doing in my mouth, causing me pain. The most important part was that I was willing to give them another chance and complete additional work in March. They booked me at the front desk on my way out and when I arrived on my scheduled date, the door was locked and no one was present. I never received any communication to cancel the appointment and was able to confirm my check in online while in the parking lot. I wasted an hour in the rain after taking the day off from work trying to make this appointment. Do not recommend them for your dental needs.

Place is absolutely ridiculous made an appointment for 9 am this morning and I arrive to be told both of the doctors are sick on the same day.... seems unusual, but a courtesy call would have been nice to not waste the time or trip then to offer me an appointment in Fort Meyers to have one tooth pulled wouldn't recommend this place now I'll be spending the day trying trying get another day off and another dentist. Just seems funny to me the only 2 doctors are sick the same day. Further more Google says they open at 8 I got there at 8:30 maybe 8:35 and the receptionist was just getting there still unlocking the door as I'm walking up saying I have some bad news..... super super unprofessional

The sevice provided is worth 5 stars as they did the job needed and so far so good. But they lose two stars for not having any idea of time. Will be done at 11 becomes 1pm.. one hour turns into three. Why even tell people times and set appointments. I sat here waiting an extra hour after the time told to pick up my wife and watched an employee tell someone waiting if they want to reschedule as they dont even know when they can take them now. Not doubting the expertise here but they are either not smart with the fabric of time or just assume everyone has hours to waste.

I called them at 2 this afternoon because I am in a bunch of mouth pain. They told me to come right in and saw me immediately. Once I saw the damage to my teeth and how much work I'm looking at (terrified of the dentist) I started crying and panicking. Nick, the x-ray tech was so nice and got me calmed down. The doctor (didn't catch her name) was also extremely kind and understanding. The front desk staff were so nice and helped me figure out a payment plan for my treatment. They squeezed me in for surgery on Monday with their oral surgeon. This was my first visit here and they will definitely be my new dentist. Highly recommend this place!!

I went today to have a root extraction on a tooth. It was really busy and running a hour behind schedule. But the staff was nice and dr Mohammed Okasha is the best dentist I have ever seen. Thank you so much the price was great. I was so impressed
