An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.
Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is an advanced, proven technology that provides more precise three-dimensional (3D) imaging for more accurate diagnosis and treatment of oral health conditions. 3D dental X-rays can uncover issues that may not be detectable with 2D X-rays. By making images easier to see, its helpful in gaining a better understanding of oral health conditions and suggested treatment.

This was my first appointment with this dental practice. I received a very thorough exam , X-rays and review and consultation with Dr Akshara Patel DMD, MS. DR Patel and the entire staff were very professional, courteous and very patient in explaining all the results from the exam and X-rays and the treatment options and recommendations to me. They provided me with same day procedures for most of what I needed. The office is very well equipped and state of the art. I highly recommend Dentists of Mitchell Ranch for your Dental needs.

Let me say WOW....after a high pressure, experience with a large dental practice I am impressed! Dr. Patel met with me to discuss concerns. Everyone explained what they were doing and I felt cared for (I have high anxiety at the dentist). I spent 3 hours and they completed not 1 but 2 crowns and a periodontal deep cleaning. Can I say WOW again! The staff is professional and caring. The office is clean and state of the art! Absolutely amazing practice and will bring family of four in this month!

Everyone in the office is so kind and caring, in addition to being incredibly knowledgeable. I hadn't been to the dentist in years and was very nervous. They made the experience smooth and easy! Would recommend to anyone.

Amazing! Both Dr. Jose and Karla were incredible. They took their time to explain what they were doing and were very gentle when I explained having a bit of sensitivity. the staff was so friendly and the office is absolutely stunning! so bright and welcoming. karla was the sweetest dental assistant i've ever met. dr. jose was so gentle and kind. so much better than my old dentist! truly appreciate each person in their staff for being so sweet.

I love this dental office. They truly care about their patients and it shows. I've never been treated with such personalized care. The dentist greets you and sits with you to ask about any concerns you have. She takes her time explaining what dental treatments are needed, and her staff are great too! I would definitely recommend this dental office!

Very kind and compassionate! After some dental torture and trauma from another provider this practice is helping to overcome that. They ensure you are comfortable and are friendly every step of the way. They take the time to discuss your medical issues and how that may impact your teeth and discuss what you are doing right in your dental health and where you need a little extra attention. Husband, kid, and myself are very happy we found them

The office staff are so happy friendly and positive. I love this! The dentist is smart quick and very caring. She takes her time to explain everything. She goes at your comfort level and speed. Fantastic! I have been to three other local dentists and have had issues in all areas of caring and quality of dental work. I am happy to find a great dentist. I have had extraction and crown work that have all gone very good. I am a very nervous patient. This office is great with scaredy-cat like me. I highly recommend this office to all my friends and family. They also have the highest technology advanced dental treatments.
