An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is an advanced, proven technology that provides more precise three-dimensional (3D) imaging for more accurate diagnosis and treatment of oral health conditions. 3D dental X-rays can uncover issues that may not be detectable with 2D X-rays. By making images easier to see, its helpful in gaining a better understanding of oral health conditions and suggested treatment.

Taylor was awesome. I got a deep cleaning and I'm happy with my results. Taylor took her time and made my time there a bit bearable because I hate dental visits. The ladies in the front are also helpful, nice, and friendly.

Another great visit with Dr. Yip and his front office and clinical team! Class acts all around. I got a porcelain filling and my 8th crown permanently placed. They look great, and the functional improvement is amazing. Dr. Yip's attention to detail and skills are incredible; you'll know that you're with the best if you choose him. I had to have 2 extractions done and Dr. Yip did a great job of easing my anxiety. Both Nadia and DD, the assistants, helped me not be nervous about the numbing process and X-rays. Dr. Yip is so good at easing anxiety about difficult treatment and took time when I needed it. I enjoyed this experience so much so that I wanted to go back the next day to have the next treatment done but needed to wait a couple of days. Dr. Yip and the assistants are great at treating all patients regardless of how young they are. I am telling all my friends to go see Dr. Yip.

I had a very negative experience with scheduling. I just switched insurance and this was the closest dentist office covered in my insurance. I called FIVE times and was place on a hold and hung up on every single time. Very disappointing, I would not recommend anyone waste their time trying to get a hold of this office if not needed.

Another great visit at Dentists of Lenexa! Just went for my six-month cleaning and exam. Incredible cleaning by the hygienist, exam by Dr. Yip and am going back in two weeks to continue with restorations. The six crowns I got six months ago still look great and held up incredibly well, and am looking forward to the next steps. The front office staff are amazing and make you feel like a valued patient in a neighborly way! Can't go wrong here! Two weeks later, arrived for permanent crown placement. No Novocaine needed. It took 19 minutes, I could feel an immediate difference and was thrilled that Dr. Yip determined that no root canal was needed. The functional difference is amazing. Why fly this summer when you can have 100% consistency, reliability and quality with Dr. Yip and his entire crew! It's great to have Jennifer back, and you walk in the front door feeling like you're coming to a family reunion. They truly appreciate your business and treat you as an individual.
