Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

Dr. Dent was so nice and personable! He made my first appointment feel super comfortable and he was very thorough with explaining each step. Nicholette was my hygienist and she was amazing! Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a new dentist in Lake Charles.

I see a few people felt as I did! These are some of the rudest people. I was hung up on when I voiced my opinion. I wasn't called back and neither was my daughter about dental work! Horrible! Lost 2 patients not that they care!!!

One of the rudest dental offices I have ever been to, but at least they accept our insurance. The receptionists act like all customers are stupid and are the problem, but the reality is that this is a very unorganized dental practice!!!

Went for tooth problems made from somewhere else. Very professional and quick also understanding.Wonderful atmosphere as soon as you walk in and the receptionist is awesome . I recommend this Dentist to anyone. No waiting to have a problem fix at all. They do an ex-ray and then they take care of the problem right then and there. No waiting a few days to get a tooth problem taken care of. THE BEST PLACE!!!!!!!

ABSOLUTELY LOVE the detailed care given my dental hygienist, Nicholette Erin Doucet. Dentist, Lukas, was great, too. It's just not that common to have a hygienist who works on you like she's working on family - giving careful and thorough care!

I've been here twice. The first was for my xrays and cleaning. I was not impressive. The cleaning I received was subpar. I still had quite a bit of tarter behind my bottom front teeth. I decided not to be rash and find another dentist, but to give them a second chance. The second time was for my bi-annual cleaning. The receptionist was really nasty to me because I didn't have the app to check in and rudely said that what ever time it took for me to complete check in on the IPad she handed me would be deducted from my appointment time. WTH The cleaning was really good this time. All tarter gone. The dentist came in and spent less than 90 seconds to look in my mouth and say "you're good. See you in 6 months". Less than 90 seconds! Not an exaggeration. Now I'm looking at my insurance statement and there is a balance due to Dentists of Lake Charles; something my insurance did not cover. Odd. I looked at the type of service. Apparently Dentist of Lake Charles charged my insurance $58 for 'Oral Hygiene Instructions". I'm 51 years old, haven't had a cavity in some time, gums are good. In NO situation is "you're good, see you in 6 months" Oral Hygiene Instructions! I'm disputing this charge and if it is not removed, they've lost 2 clients.

I absolutely love the staff here ..From the moment you walk in, you're treated like Family! I had x-rays, my teeth cleaned, a few fillings and an extraction. I have always had a fear of going to the dentist, they were so understanding of me being nervous, fully explained everything in detail was very patient with me. I was given antibiotics before my procedure due to medical/heart condition. I would definitely recommend this place! "THANK YOU" Dr Lukas & Nicholette for making me so comfortable and addressing my overall oral health!

Hands down best dentist I've ever been thru. Went there on 3/24/22 which is today for an emergency for my tooth. They got me in later that afternoon and took care of me plus gave me alot of information and details about my team. A very true loving place. All was welcoming and helpful. I had Dr. Lukas. I don't know how to spell his last name, but honestly I highly recommend this place. I felt loved there. 10 stars

Love this place went for a consultation last week, had my appointment today. Office staff very friendly. XRay Tech very nice and kind, I have a small mouth and she was very patient trying to get good. Xrays. Dental assistant very nice and informative. Dr. Dent is great. He lets you know all of your options with no pressure. He explains everything. I felt at ease and in good hands. My procedure took less than a half hour. I finally am anxiety free about going to the dentist. Will be switching my whole family here. Great overall experience.

I have nothing but good things to say about this dentist off. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. They educate you on everything. They are upfront about their treatment plans and prices. Highly recommend, especially if you are anxious or nervous about going to the dentist, they will put your mind at ease
