An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.
Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is an advanced, proven technology that provides more precise three-dimensional (3D) imaging for more accurate diagnosis and treatment of oral health conditions. 3D dental X-rays can uncover issues that may not be detectable with 2D X-rays. By making images easier to see, its helpful in gaining a better understanding of oral health conditions and suggested treatment.

I'm here to say that Dr. Parfitt and his team did an AMAZING job with my wisdom teeth extractions!!! This was something that I had put off for awhile but from the moment I made the appointment both Stephanie and Sara were on top of my insurance info and necessary paperwork. Everything was seamless on the day of my surgery. I'm so thankful I went to Dentists of Grossmont for my dental needs!

Great experience at this office. They ended up doing 2 crowns and root canals. I felt so comfortable with the specialist and loved he came to that office. Everything was streamlined for me!

I loved all the staff from front office to back office and doctor. Everyone is very kind, office is super clean, Dr Shahab Ariannejad who did my cleaning was very caring, careful and explained everything so well and made me feel comfortable. Sam was also great. Sam cleaned my sons teeth and she was awesome as well. Thank you to all the staff!

I had a great experience during my visit here. The staff is very professional and made me feel really comfortable as a first time patient. I was greeted by the front desk personnel, Stephanie and Sarah. They provided me with a detailed explanation of my bill and services rendered. Kelsie took my x-rays and was very personable and efficient. My exam was conducted by Dr. Kruger who was very attentive to my dental health and needs. My hygienist Sam did an excellent job with my deep cleaning. She educated me on proper methods to achieve and maintain an adequate level of oral health. I highly recommend Dentists of Grossmont to anyone looking to improve their oral health with a friendly and caring staff ready to meet any of your dental needs.

I have had some terrible dental experiences and this office was really amazing. They were so patient with me, helped me figure out my insurance situation and walked me through everything; every step of the way. Dr Kruger, Damitri (who took my X-rays), and Samantha (hygienist) were all super gentle on my sensitive teeth and made sure to give me breaks to close my mouth because of my TMJ. Everyone that works there was so kind and helpful- I'm so happy I found my new dentist!!!

This dental office is amazing. Not just nice but genuinely cares about their patients. Our adult son has autism; mostly non-verbal. Sara and Stephanie at the front went out of their ways to make sure that not only was he was comfortable, but also Mom. They, along with the dentist, oral surgeon and staff took time to actually "listen" to my concerns about his recovery. It wasn't us and them. We were partnered together as our son recovered from surgery. Absolutely give them a try. Thank you everyone at Dentists of Grossmont!

The staff are incredibly friendly. They take the time to give an answer to any question you may have and explain the scientific aspects in as much detail as you could wish. I live in a different area of San Diego now, but I prefer to travel to this place rather than find a dentist office closer to where I live now.

If I can give more than 5stars, I will. I hate dental care. As a nurse for a very long time, I neglected going to any dental offices because of crazy schedule and also anxiety! One night, I experienced so much pain around my mouth area and I knew it is probably my teeth. I googled a dental office that offers emergency dental care and the first one popped is the Dentist of Grossmont. I didn't go to my initial appointment. I waited few more weeks since my PCP prescribed antibiotic for me. My first appointment, I was impressed with the cleanliness of the office. Greeted by wonderful 2 front desk staffs: Sarah is one of them, they are so friendly. I did not have to wait at all for, the doctor assigned to me was punctual. Dr. Aria who greeted me, very professional. He gave me honest diagnosis and explained to me my treatment plans and I didn't felt that I am just gonna waste my time and money. He was very direct and told me what I need to do that will benefit me long term. Dimitri who did my Xrays- so professional! Lastly, my hygienist, Sam... She made sure I am comfortable and she knows I was very nervous during my deep cleaning procedure. She made everything so easy for me and she explained to me every single thing she has to do. I am so grateful I found these amazing dental team! I am scheduled for my every first oral surgery in July and I know I am in good hands. I even scheduled my entire family: 2 kids and my husband to be under the care of Dr. Aria and his team as their new patients... Thank you again so so much

I was really happy with the vibe, the staff and the dentists here, which came as a big releif sice I've been avoiding dentists for a while. It seems most dentists dont really see you as much more than a blank check these days, dentists of Grossmont is the exception, they were professional, sowed that they cared and were very attentive to all my questions or concerns.

I needed to find a new provider for my mom due to her old dentist dropping her insurance. Through research, I found my way to Dentists of Grossmont and it was the BEST decision I could have made on her behalf! From the very first interaction with making her appointment over the phone, to the patient portal creation and...finally...with the office visit the experience was positive! The care and time they took with my mom (who has mobility issues and ALZ) and taking the time to thoroughly explain everything to me, was extraordinary and so appreciated. I am so happy with the switch to Dentists of Grossmont to help my mom with her gum and teeth health. I look forward to working together with the Dentists of Grossmont team on my mom's journey to healthier oral hygiene!

An absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. Sara, Dimitri, Sam, Dr. Aria and all of the staff were friendly, helpful, quick and thorough. I had gone to another dentist and was unhappy with my experience so I came to Dentists of Grossmont for a second opinion. They were able to help me and did not try to upsell me like the other place. The office is beautiful, new and very clean. They have all the newest technology which made the process easy and painless. I would recommend them to everyone.

As a new patient and someone who hasn't gone to the dentist in a few years, I was a little unsure what to expect for my first visit. I'm really satisfied with how smooth and comfortable Dentists of Grossmont made me feel today. Sarah at the front desk made sure I had everything I needed to start my visit. Kelsie did a great job walking me through the X-ray process, while Dr. Kruger explained what my next oral care steps will look like and how she can support me. Overall, I'm so satisfied with this team and am excited to continue my dental services here!

This was my first time coming to this dentist office today and I enjoyed every minute there! Sarah at the front desk was very friendly and super helpful, and Sam who did my cleaning took very good care of me and was very personable, and made sure i was comfortable every step of the way. Everyone in the office was very nice and enjoyed what they do, this should be everyone's first pick when choosing a dentist office. Damitry and Dr. Ariannejad were very friendly, professional and did a great job as well. I cant recommend this place enough! Thank you!
