An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

I had the pleasure with meeting with Dr. Azadi and Dr. Modlin and they are absolutely amazing! The whole staff made me feel comfortable during my appointment and I got all my questions answered. I have finally found an office I can trust. Thank you everyone.

To start, I have severe anxiety going to the dentist - Dr. Azadi, Brenda & the whole staff made me feel super welcome & were professional, warm & courteous. I came in for a dental emergency, & Dr. Azadi listened to my concerns (cosmetic & health wise), answered all of my questions, & not only successfully saved my tooth, but was very cognizant of explaining options & having the office explain pricing. The office was clean, everyone was very nice & seemed genuinely happy to be there. It was the best experience I've had at a dentist to date! Additionally, they do have in-office payment plans to make things more accessible (not just Care credit - no credit check etc). Thank you also to the kind women of the front desk for getting me in the same day. I will definitely be having them continue my dental care!

This dental office is the best! Everyone from the front desk to the hygienist to the dentist we're absolutely fantastic! Alejandro and Dr. Azadi are very knowledgeable and caring. I've never felt so comfortable in a dental office. They were able to get everything I needed done in one day! Cleaning, filling, and whitening!

I absolutely cannot recommend a dentist office more ! I am not the best patient when it comes to whitening and cleanings as I have a lot of sensitivity. Alejandro the hygienist made sure I was comfortable and took extra precautions with me. For the first time, I left without any sensitivity at all, which is a miracle. The dentist is also very kind and caring and took his time explaining options with me. The entire staff including the front desk is great. I recommend !

Stay away from this dental office. Run for your life. If you want to keep your teeth in place and healthy, do not go to this office. I went to this office due to mandibular pain and Doctor Sangiovanni diagnosed me with a molar infection. She offered to me a tooth extraction, procedure that she was not able to finish. After two hours trying to extract the tooth, I was informed by her that she could not complete the surgery without giving me reasons. On top of that, she told me that I have to find an oral surgeon to complete the procedure and gave me a list of possible surgeons in the area. She did not make any efforts to contact a specialist to resolved her unfinished work and major mistake. I think that her unprofessional way to resolve my problem and her careless attitude scared me so much that I am very traumatized by the experience. Please do not go there. Money is the only thing that moves the office. 0 star

I have been seen by Dr. Valdivia. She is a true professional! It begins from the moment she enters the room asking how you are doing, responding to your concerns with care, and answering all your questions, which helps to reduce anxiety. It continues with her remarkable expertise in numbing the area, extracting the tooth, and placing the implant. Her assistant Kim provided great explanations. The front dest staff are knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful. All and all great experience. Best periodontist I could ever recommend!

Dr. Valdivia is a fantastic periodontist. She has done multiple procedures on myself and my husband, who has a serious dental phobia; she has been able to help him feel comfortable and relaxed enough to undergo gum surgery and, just today, a molar extraction. She and her team are very warm, welcoming, and kind. Chenelle and Katelyn at reception always greet us courteously and are quite friendly. I highly recommend this dental office.

I just have to say how much I love this dentist office. I had a pain on my wisdom tooth on a Thursday, I called on Friday for the soonest appointment and they were able to fit me in first thing Monday morning with Dr. Gabriela San Giovanni. The staff was beyond helpful, so kind, and informative about the coverage of my insurance. They took an x-ray of my mouth and when I sat down with Dr. Giovanni she went through everything that was concerning about my teeth with great detail. What I loved even more is that before we even did the cleaning they gave me a breakdown of additional things I should do with my cleaning with the cost and the coverage of my insurance. Honestly that was a big bonus for me. At my last dentist office they would tell me I need to do something and then surprise me with a bill at the end. The transparency was top notch and very professional. I had my cleaning with Andres and we joked and laughed while he did my cleaning, and although this is a thing I hate to do, he made it very easy and painless. I was so comfortable with the staff, I felt like I was going there for years. Once I was finished with the cleaning, I went to the front to check out and the girls helped me out by finding a dental surgeon to extract my 2 wisdom teeth within a weeks time. I mean, it doesn't get better than that. I highly recommend Dentist of Coral Gables, they are the best of the best!
