Dr. Leslie Barrilleaux is a native of Central Kentucky and graduated with Honors from the University of Louisville Dental School. After dental school and after being elected to serve as the President of the National Dental Student Research Organization, she choose to continue her post-graduate education and start her career in dental research. During this time, she was awarded a NIDR National Dental Research Grant to work with Louisiana State University conducting dental research. While in New Orleans, she got married and a few years later moved to Alabama and began private practice. In addition, Dr. Leslie has participated in hundreds of hours of advanced study and seminars with distinguished dentistry mentors such as Dr. Pete Dawson, Dr. Frank Spear, and Dr. David Hornbrook. She has over 25 years of experience in providing dental care to adults and children.
Dr. Leslie is Accredited by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD). An Accredited member has successfully completed the comprehensive Accreditation process, which consists of a written examination, delivering and extensively documenting a broad range of cosmetic treatment solutions for several patients, and an oral examination administered by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Board. By successfully completing this process, an Accredited Cosmetic Dentist demonstrates a very high level of clinical skills in Cosmetic Dentistry and is recognized by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry as having exceptional skills in that area. At the present time, less than 600 Cosmetic Dentists in the country hold this credential, and she is the only one in Alabama. Before her accreditation, patients in Alabama looking for a cosmetic dentist who was accredited would need to travel to Nashville or Atlanta for cosmetic treatment.
Tammy was born and raised in Pisgah, Alabama. She graduated from Scottsboro High School in 1985 and received her certificate in dental hygiene from UAB in 1994. Tammy got her start in dentistry in high school when she started working for a local dentist in Scottsboro. The reason she pursued a career in dentistry is because she loves people and enjoys interacting with everyone she meets, and dentistry gives me the opportunity to get to know my patients on a personal level. Tammy has been working in the dental field for 26 years; working specifically as a dental hygienist for 24 years and has two children, a son and a daughter.
Peggy, Dr. Leslies Mother, is from Central Kentucky and attended Eastern Kentucky University, earning a BS Degree in Educational Psychology and a Masters Degree in Business Administration. Peggy served as a public school Counselor, School Psychometrist, and Director of Federal Programs. After retirement, she committed to a part-time position as concierge at Dentistry Today
Coming from Kazakhstan with her husband and little daughter, Olga did not speak any English and had to learn rather quickly on her own, which we think she did beautifully. She would laugh and say that it required a lot of reading and watching movies. After a brief time in Texas, Olga and her family moved here to Huntsville. Shortly after that Olga signed up for one of Dr. Leslies dental assisting classes and passed with flying colors. The timing was perfect, as there was a spot available, and she stayed on and became a valuable member of our team. Besides assisting, Olga also handles most of the design and fabrication of our in-office Cerec crowns.
Tina was born in former West-Germany. She is certified in mechanical drafting, but chose her family over her career and followed her husband to the United States just one year before the Berlin Wall came down. One day, over 22 years ago, and while in the waiting room at her dental office, Tina decided to ask for a job and was hired as their new insurance coordinator. In 2016, with the kids grown and out of the house, Tina decided to join her husband (owner of an 18 wheeler) on his road trips. After one short year, he became ill and they had to come home. Shortly after that, Tina became a full-time member of our dental team here at Dentistry Today.
Patti, our Patient Coordinator, was born in Weymouth, Massachusetts but moved to Alabama in 1978. She started her career in the dental field in an orthodontic office in Huntsville in 1991. A few years later she moved to North Carolina, where she met the love of her life, Mike. When Mike retired from the Police Force they both moved back to Huntsville. Both enjoy camping with family and friends. Together they have 4 children and 8 grandchildren.
Patti is a people person and loves working in the dental field, helping create beautiful smiles. Outside of work she loves to go antiquing and shopping for treasures. Most of all, she loves spending time with her beloved family

I had a great experience at Dentistry Today! My cleaning was thorough, the dentist had great chair side manners, and I was impressed with the professionalism and friendly demeanor of the staff. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone looking for a new place to trust with their dental care.

Mallory Hunt was awesome!!! She is very thorough explaining everything in detail. I have alot of anxiety with dentists but she made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. I went to 3 different dentists 5 times since last July and was told there was nothing wrong to gargle with salt water and to have my thyroid checked or that I may have an underlying health condition. Not one of them tried helping me to investigate further I told them I was in pain and it was very irritated in which you could visibly see. I am so thankful for Mallory in going that extra mile to figure out what was going on. All the staff there is wonderful to they all listen to you. I would highly recommend Mallory!!! If you want somebody that actually cares and not concerned about just money she is your go to person!!! Thank you to all the staff and especially to Patti Miller she is your go to person for insurance concerns! Another shout out to Hope she went also extra mile on my cleaning and was very thourough! As i just had cleaning in June in which I had buildup on one of my back teeth and the hygeniest just sprayed an antimicrobial on it and didn't bother to clean it. If your looking for a dentist that will listen to you and go the extra mile this is your place!!! Thank you again to all the staff and Mallory!!!

Hands down amazing service and facility. We were travelling to Huntsville from Florida when my son started having extreme pain in a tooth he had previously had repaired. It was close to closing so several other dentists in Huntsville couldn't get us in. This team stayed for my son and made time out of their day to try to ease his pain. Not only were they welcoming and patient with us, but they worked with my son and answered all of his questions. Top notch professional service with a smile. If I lived in Huntsville, these kind folks would get my family's patronage without hesitation.

I love to go there. Everyone is so professional and friendly. I just love to talk to all the ladys. If I could, I would stay all day long. I might start little Cappuccino place in the front lobby. I think that would be fun....

Back receptionist and actual dentist helped my experience from being an complete disaster but front receptionist called and asked for my social securairy number over phone for "insurance reasons " although I was coming up there the next morning and would not take no for an answer. Took nearly an hour to get called back and when I did, the woman who did my ex-rays nearly made my gums bleed from being so rough moving around the x-ray screener inside my mouth. I'm new to Huntsville and was just trying to find a dentist but I would not recommend this one.

I can't speak highly enough about this very talented group of dental professionals. I left my family dentist who I had been seeing since I was 14 several years ago to come here and could be happier with the switch! The dentist herself Dr. Leslie along with Olga and Tammy and even the receptionist and billing specialist all function as a team incredibly efficiently! I'm kept up to date with my appointments and no unexpected charges or bills have ever come my way and they know me by name the minute I walk in the door. No matter the job-cleaning, fillings or a cap I always leave with a smile on my face and never disappointed. Thank you all!

Because I was late for my appointment because of traffic by 15 to 20 minutes. They stated I should of been there at 4pm when the reminder they sent on my phone clearly stated my appointment was 430pm. Then they even replayed the recorded message out loud where anyone in the office could hear when i made my appointment. I was embarrassed even though my phone stated 430 they kept saying it was at .4pm. I was embarrassed and I will not be back. Someone else can get my business.
