She feels privileged to help others enjoy healthier mouths, improved wellness, and confidence in their smiles. Her journey to a Doctor of Dental Surgery began with a natural inclination, at an early age, for science and medicine. She attended Phoenix College for Dental Hygiene, then completed a Bachelor of Science undergraduate program at the Dr. D.Y. Patil Dental College & Hospital. Dr. Kay earned her DDS at New York University Medical School, with special attention to dental implantology and cosmetic dentistry, as well as general dentistry.

Since 2007, Dr. Kay has applied a gentle manner and fluency in English and Farsi (she hails from Mumbai, India), to put patients of all ages at ease in her chair. She has served the Kennesaw area since 2008 and now has an office in Tucker, as well. She also performs volunteer work at the Ben Massell Dental Clinic. Dr. Kay is enthusiastic about keeping up with the latest developments in the fast-changing field of dentistry. She pursues annual continuing education and maintains membership in a number of professional associations.

Dr. Kay has made Marietta in Cobb County her home. She has three wonderful children in college and two beautiful dogs to keep her company when she is not at the dental office. Dr. Kay enjoys reading, cooking, playing tennis, and watching movies.

Dental implants are small titanium posts that are surgically placed into the jawbone where teeth are missing. This restoration of a tooth-supporting structure helps ensure that the face, tongue, and jaw have an appropriate foundation to function normally. Oftentimes, when a tooth is extracted- bone grafting is needed to ensure that the overall structure of the individuals face is not compromised or starts to recede.

Dental implants that are made from titanium have a higher success rate for single tooth implants, dental bridges and even full mouth reconstructions. Dental implants are safe because they don't put pressure on other teeth and act as a complete replacement for the missing tooth. They don't interfere with other teeth so you can eat, brush, etc. without worry. This makes them much better than dentures which you have to take out after eating or drinking anything so it doesn't damage the denture. With dental implants can eat and drink whatever you please without having to worry about pain, teeth falling out or anything else.

Some individuals fear dental implants because they worry that there might be some kind of long-term health risk. This is a common fear, but dental implants are completely safe for your oral health. As a matter of fact, there is a lot of research on the safety and efficacy of dental implants. Dental implants are safe for your oral health because they simulate natural tooth roots in the jawbone which means they provide a tight seal against food and bacteria. This leads to better oral health in the long-run so there is no need to worry about safety issues when it comes to dental implants. As time goes by, your gums will heal and the bone around the implant will actually grow stronger. Dental implants are not only safe, they also offer a long-term solution that is more reliable than dental bridges or dentures.

When it comes to dental implants, the procedure has been well established and is considered to be one of the most successful and safest solutions available. The implant is surgically placed by a dentist into the jawbone and over time it integrates with the bone, acting as an anchor for replacement teeth. Dentists will be able to use dental implants to help someone restore their smile or simply replace missing teeth. This helps the person gain back their confidence and helps them feel more comfortable. Dental implants are considered to be safe and better than other methods because they do not hurt your mouth and you don't have to worry about taking care of them like you would with dentures or bridges. People often think that dental implants are too expensive for them, but they are actually more affordable than most people think.

Fast and very understanding if there is an issue you are having. Takes many insurances and is great even without. I would have to say that the chairs they have don't have much cushioning but nothing a bunched up coat or a small pillow wouldn't fix.

I haven't been in this office for over a year, I usually had an outstanding experience there. , i usually don't leave reviews, but today was certainly the poorer experience I had there.. So first off all, the call center booked me for a cleaning, I arrived at the office and they couldn't find my appointment, I had to wait over 1 hours with a 3 years old. To be fair this is not the office's failure, more the call center. Anyway I eventually Got a cleaning performed, my hygienist was very nice, and soft, nevertheless after she completed the cleaning, I glanced at my teeth, and noticed my front tooth veneer was slightly damaged on the lower corner. So I immediately asked her about the likelihood of having done that during the cleaning, (not condemning her of doing it). I didn't even have the time to say anything else that a male obviously working there, that was passing by hopped into our conversation, then spoke Spanish for a second, which i didn't understand, then shut me down instantly, cutting me off while I was speaking, dissuading me from finalizing what i was saying. Just reiterating, " NO SHE didn't damaged it" multiple times, deterring me from speaking. I couldn't even put forward the questions that i had. He Didn't let me convey my concerns, cutting me off, warning over and over, "she didn't do it, she didn't do it",. Then the dentist came in, asking what was going on, and same I didn't even had the time to explain anything, the man spoke about me in the third person has if I wasn't in the room, declaring "she said that the hygienist damaged her veneer, but she didn't". Case closed. This man was so amateurish and impolite. And all was wrapped up as if the patient's concern were trivial. The issue Here is not even the veneer, but the behavior of this man, working in a facility where patients will have concerns and should have the freedom to put them forward and be evaluated . The fact that this man spoke Spanish with my hygienist while I was expressing a concern, even for a second, which is a language that I do not speak, it's very disrespectful. All together is very unprofessional, I will not condemn the whole facility for his behaviors , but this man shouldn't be working around people. After I settled my baby in the car with my husband,, I came back in the office, needing to deal with his behavior toward me directly with this man. Unfortunately he was likely with a patient in the back, And I didn't get the chance to deal with this matter. My father is a cardiologist, my mother is a general practitioner, most of my family work in the medical field in France. I have a standard when it comes to the relation patient/ heath professional attitude was a very poor attitude. And this person should learn the basics attitude to keep towards patients when they rise a concern.

it my 1st visit / appointment they were busy , not enough chairs for customers, & my waiting time was 30 minutes. They speak a foreign language, ( while I'm in dental chair ) don't know what saying to one another, didn't translate (may not been about me though) Wonderful staff, they know their business. I'll be back!
