Dr. Zach Walgenbach grew up in Waseca, Minnesota, and received his undergraduate degree from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota, with a bachelors degree in biology and a minor in music. He continued his studies at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, where he graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. While he was a student, Dr. Walgenbach took several elective and honors courses in general dentistry, including those in endodontics and pediatric dentistry.

Dr. Walgenbach received the Quality Care in a Caring Manner Award for his clinical excellence and compassionate treatment of patients. The Academy of General Dentistry Board of Trustees recognized Dr. Walgenbach for having exhibited the greatest leadership, interest, knowledge, and proficiency in the field of general dentistry while in school and awarded him the Academy of General Dentistry University of Minnesota Senior Leader Award. In addition, Dr. Walgenbach received an award from the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry for his outstanding achievement in the pursuit of excellence in the study of Esthetic Dentistry while a student at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry.

Since graduating from dental school, Dr. Walgenbach has continued to hold himself to high standards. He has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education. He has completed two levels in an extensive multi-year Postgraduate Program in Contemporary and Esthetic Dentistry through the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry.

Dr. Walgenbach spent four years caring for patients at a private dental office in Blaine, MN, prior to connecting with Dentistry on Vine. While he enjoyed his time in Blaine, he felt as though something was missing. After meeting Dr. Lesher, he was excited to have found a partner with similar practice philosophies. Once he met the staff and experienced the vibrant Hudson community, he knew Dentistry on Vine was where he wanted to spend the rest of his career.

Community involvement and service work have always been central to Dr. Walgenbachs life. He first participated with the Give Kids a Smile program in 2009. He has also been involved with Minnesotas Mission of Mercy program, and he has traveled with a Minnesota-based dental relief group to Antigua, Guatemala, and San Rafael, Guatemala, providing dental treatment to the underserved.

Dr. Walgenbach is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Wisconsin Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He is an active member of Spear Education. Spear Education provides dental continuing education for striving dentists that are dedicated to the pursuit of clinical excellence in dentistry.

When Dr. Walgenbach is not treating patients, he can be found enjoying the outdoors with his wife, Erica, and their two children. They enjoy boating, biking, camping, and hiking. Dr. Walgenbach also enjoys working with his hands and auto restoration.

She goes the extra mile to assist where needed, whether it is in the clinical area with patient care or the front desk answering patient questions and concerns about insurance or financial arrangements. Kim views each patient as part of our dental family and always wants the best for them.

When Kim is out of the office, she enjoys being at the cabin, riding an ATV, hiking, and spending time with her family. Her favorite part about Dentistry on Vine? Its not just an excellent place to have your dental and overall health cared for; its a place to swap stories, make friends, and feel like part of a family.

Besides being knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely good at her job, Melissa brings a level of love and passion to her work and patients that are rare. She believes in being the best she can be every day and giving her patients the information, care, and attention they need to be able to do the same.

In her free time, Melissa might be found biking, skiing, at the dirt bike track, or camping with her family. Someday, shed like to travel around the world (theres so much to see in so little time). But, until then, youll find her in Hudson, happy at work on the corner of Second and Vine.

Jessica understands that going to the dentist isnt everyones idea of a good time, so she does her best to keep her patients engaged in conversation and comfortable. Her specialty is working with anxious patients and young children.

Halle joined our team in April of 2021. She enjoys getting to know patients. Her friendly and outgoing personality instantly makes patients feel comfortable. She is family oriented and especially loves working with little kids. Halles bubbly personality is very contagious.

When Halle is not in the office, you can find her sipping some coffee. She likes traveling near the ocean and loves to be on the beach. One of her favorite things to do is watch the sunset and eat cookie dough ice cream!

Chelsea grew up in Hudson, where she loves the small-town feel! She is happy to be able to work in the Hudson community. She joined the Dentistry on Vine team in 2014 and loves being able to meet patients and help them feel at ease and comfortable during each visit.

Melissa has enjoyed going to the dentist since she was a child. She knows that oral hygiene influences a persons overall health, so Melissa takes special care to educate patients at Dentistry on Vine about caring for their teeth and gums.

Angelas focus is on helping patients gain an understanding of how important the connection is between their oral health and overall health. She is very thankful to be part of a team that is so dedicated to patient care
