Dr. Kari Stuntz knew she loved dentistry from the very first day she shadowed her uncle at his dental office. Years later, she graduated from the University of Maryland Dental School with a genuine passion for helping people, not just treating smiles.
Dr. Kari Stuntz grew up in Beltsville Maryland and is the oldest of four children. Growing up she had the opportunity to shadow at the dental practice of her uncle and became very interested in Dentistry. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelors Degree in Microbiology from the University of Maryland College Park in 2004. While in college she also met her future husband, Bob Stuntz, while they were both student volunteers in a Virology research laboratory on campus. Dr. Stuntz then graduated from the University of Maryland Dental School in 2008, where she received specialized training in caring for children and patients with special needs. She went on to complete a two-year residency in general dentistry at Wellspan York Hospital with additional training in advanced treatment planning, implant placement and restoration, the management of dental emergencies, and oral surgery.
After the completion of her training, Dr. Stuntz was offered and accepted a position as a faculty member at the Wellspan York Hospital General Practice Residency. For nine years in addition to managing the care for her own patients, she mentored and taught dental residents. Her special areas of teaching interest include the management of medical emergencies in the dental office and making dental treatment comfortable for pediatric patients. Dr. Stuntz maintains membership in the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. She has extensive experience helping patients with a phobia of dental procedures feel comfortable and relaxed.
Dr. Stuntz and her husband Bob reside in York with their two children, Emmett and Conrad. They also have two rescue dogs, Bella and Chauncey. Dr. Stuntz loves to cook and also grows her own vegetables, herbs, and collects delicious eggs from her eight hens. In her spare time, she enjoys learning martial arts and weight training.
Because shes always willing to help wherever needed, Terri can be found working in many areas of our office. Terri directly connects with patients, whether helping Dr. Stuntz with treatment or handling front desk responsibilities.Over 30 years ago, Terri started working in the dental field and has received valuable on-the-job training that has developed her skills in the profession she loves. A favorite part of her job is knowing that Dr. Stuntz truly cares for both her patients and her team. Terri lives with her husband on a farm in Fairfield. She has two grown children and one amazing granddaughter.
As a patient of ours, youll get to know Cindy from the moment you first contact our office. Her background as an administrative assistant ensures that the office is running smoothly and that all patients concerns are addressed. Cindys smile welcomes patients at the front desk where she handles all insurance and payment processing. Cindy assists patients in arranging financial options to help them pay for their treatment. She is motivated by the morning meetings and daily devotionals which set the tone for the office and loves that the team is truly committed to the care of every patient. When shes not in the office, Cindy likes to travel with her husband Dale, relax with their four grandchildren and enjoy photography.

Michelle is not only an excellent dental assistant, but she also brings creativity and an eye for design to other areas of our office. As a graduate of New Oxford High School, Michelle loves to work in the community which shes always called home. She received her dental training at Cumberland Perry Tech School in Mechanicsburg. You can locate Michelle by following the sound of laughter in our office.Her sense of humor makes her chairside assisting, interacting with patients at the front desk and taking x-rays more enjoyable for everyone!Michelle has been married to her best friend for almost two decades. Together they have three children and three grandchildren who bring lots of joy to their lives.
Although Kelly is the newest member of our team, she has known and worked with Dr. Stuntz since 2009. Kelly is responsible for scaling, polishing and flossing teeth, as well as administering fluoride and screening for oral cancer. She loves watching patients health improve over time and working together as a team to ensure healthy outcomes for our patients smiles.
Kelly is a New Oxford native, graduated from Delone Catholic High School and received her dental hygiene degree from Allegany College of Maryland. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, baking, making crafts, and spending time at the beach and Disney!
Stacy is the newest addition to our Dentistry on the Square team but has been a registered dental hygienist for 32 years. She grew up in Spring Grove and completed her dental hygiene training at Farleigh Dickinson University. Patients are raving about her fabulous sense of humor! Stacy lives locally with her husband and two daughters. In her spare time Stacy likes to attend sprint car races, enjoy local cuisine and vacation at the beach.
