Dr. Keith Abrahamsons commitment to providing fun, comfortable treatment to children and adults of all ages has been his main focus since day one. I enjoy showing fearful patients how dentistry can be an enjoyable stress free experience. With satellite TVs on the ceiling above the chair, patients watch movies, TV shows or listen to music using wireless headphones. Computer aided anesthetic machines accompanied by nitrous oxide (laughing gas) create such a comfort that kids as well as adults say on a daily basis, I didnt feel a thing. We never get tired of hearing that.
He is a graduate of Colorado State University BS, Biology 1987 and University of Minnesota School of Dentistry DDS, 1992. After practicing with some of the top dentists in Minnesota, in 1996 he bought his own practice and continues the course today where he has been voted, Top Dentist for many years. In 2000 he built a fully digital and paperless office in Chanhassen and became one of the most modern practices in Minnesota. I had a plan to create comfort and beauty that all people can appreciate. He continues that theme into the treatment of your smile no matter what you are looking for from whiter smiles to implants. We will show you a video tour of your mouth and begin the journey with YOU fully involved in the treatment that YOU choose. There are many ways to treat your teeth. Continued commitment to charitable organizations, provide a well balanced approach to community needs. He has long standing donating commitments to Special Olympics, local libraries, schools, students and one of a few dentists in Minnesota in a very unique program call Donating Dental Services, DDS. Its a wonderful outlet for people that cannot afford dental treatment. Besides Special Olympics, it is one of the most satisfying parts of my career to create truly happy thankful people with happy smiles.
Dr. Abrahamson lives in Chanhassen with his wife Dr. Karlene Johnson and children Anika and Grant. His family enjoys skiing, water skiing, snowboarding, wakeboarding tennis, golf, swimming, mountain biking and many more outdoor activities. Fitness and competition keeps us on the move to a healthy lifestyle physically as well as mentally. He is often heard telling anyone who listens, stay happy in your head and happy in your heart.

The staff at Dentistry on the Ponds is exceptional! Everyone is kind, and our young children enjoy going to get their teeth checked. Dr. Mehta just replaced my bridge, and the results are amazing!

My daughter is handicapped and she does great with all the staff, Brooke cleans her teeth and is awesome! Dr M. is a true blessing! She has been going here for over 30 years! We are incredibly grateful to everyone at Dentistry on the Ponds!

Dentistry on the Ponds has always been an outstanding place to receive quality dental care. I have been a patient there for over sixteen years. Dr. Mehta, who recently succeeded Dr. Abrahamson (retired), is an excellent dentist. Dr. Mehta is very skilled, compassionate, thorough and good about answering questions. I had a very pleasant experience with Brooke the hygienist that performed my cleaning. She was very professional and gentle on my teeth. I would highly recommend Dr Mehta and his staff for new patients. Dr Mehta was talking about some of the new equipment he has installed which would help the patients have a better experience, can't wait to see what else is in store. The new furniture and colors really bring some light into the clinic. I definitely would recommend this to people that have had negative experiences with past dental clinics.

The staff here are so friendly and so helpful. Growing up, I hated going to the dentist, but since going to Dentistry on the Ponds, I finally have a doctor that I listens to my needs and helps me to do better in taking care of my teeth.

Had been with same dentist about 25 yrs! He retired ...tried 3 dental places...very disapointing as no human feel..(.robotic ..no questions please, rolling of eyes if u dare ask.)..big conglomerates. ONE SIZE FITS ALL JOiNTS! Then found dentistry on the ponds... .no question my happy place...from Julie the receptionist to dr. And staff ...kind ,thoughtful, Paces to your needs, and very professional. If you want a dental office who treats you with respect and as an individual... This is the place!
