Dr. Maryam Douraghy received her dental degree from the prestigious Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She then continued to Harvard Dental/Medical School to complete her General Practice Residency. Dr. Douraghy is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the worlds most recognized advanced cosmetic dentistry organization. She has dedicated numerous hours to attending conventions and seminars to bring the most advanced techniques to her practice.
Dr. Douraghy practices dentistry with elegance and grace to create an extraordinary patient experience. She brings out the smile in every one of her patients by helping them become the best version of themselves. She believes that the most enriching element of running her practice is the gratitude received from her patients, who have endured pain and even embarrassment; seeing them transform from an anxious patient to a raving fan being the most amazing and emotionally rewarding experience. Her main dedication lies with her family; to be a loving wife to her husband and colleague, Dr. Ramin Mehregan, and a loving mother to their two sons. When not at the office, she spends her time reading, hiking, practicing yoga, designing floral arrangements, and interior decorating to create opulent spaces.
Dr. Ramin Mehregan graduated in 1992 from Boston Universitys School of Graduate Dentistry. Today, with over 25 years of experience and continuing education, he is one of the most sought after premiere TMD (temporomandibular dysfunction) dentists in the world. He is dedicated to achieving the best, healthiest, and proper physiological occlusion for his patients, who have traveled as far as Asia and Europe to seek treatment.
Under the mentorship of some of the leading specialists in the nation such as Drs. Clayton Chan, Jay Gerber, and Mariano Rocabado, Dr. Mehregan has actively participated in extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction (TMJD), physiologic occlusion, advanced orthodontics, craniocervical, and craniomandibular pathophysiology. Over the years, he has written numerous articles for news agencies on the treatment of TMJD and was interviewed by the local ABC television network, Healthbeat, on this matter. In 2018, he was honored by receiving the 2018 Top Dentists in orthodontics from Boston Magazine. His never-ending educational journey continues everyday.
As a recognized collaborator on numerous TMJ patient forums and an expert TMJ clinician, he provides many patients, both nationally and internationally, a lasting transformation from their lifelong battle with TMJD. He has lectured to different dental organizations concerning neuromuscular dentistry, orthodontics, and proper posture. In addition to his passion for dentistry he has a deep passion for gourmet cooking and playing the guitar. As a self-taught chef who lives by the quote: Wine, good food, family & friends, he unwinds by creating inspiring dishes for his family and friends, which is congruent with his creative and intuitive solutions evident in his dentistry. Other hobbies of his include skiing in the winter and riding his Harley with his wife in the summer.
After attending Bristol Community college, Cheryl Gagne received an Associates degree in dental hygiene and an Associates degree in medical laboratory science. Cheryl values the opportunities she has in our practice to expand her knowledge and develop strong relationships with patients and co-workers. She enjoys walking, her womens Bible study, and spending time with her family, including her husband, four daughters, one son, and 10 grandchildren.
As a certified dental assistant, Donna Connor provides expert care to our patients. Because she is a licensed massage therapist and certified reflexologist, she is able to make sure our patients feel relaxed and comfortable during their time with us. Donna belongs to several professional organizations to support her work in these areas.
At Dentistry on Park, LLC, we provide clear braces throughout the Stoughton area. Straight teeth are important for your overall oral health. When teeth are crooked, they can become stained and infected more easily. By straightening teeth, we can improve your appearance and decrease the risk of getting cavities at the same time. We can also address issues that you may have with your jaw by aligning your bite. Clear braces are truly a comprehensive way and discreet way to address oral health concerns.
We understand that while many people want to have straighter teeth, many teens and adults are uncomfortable with the traditional metal braces on their teeth for more than one year. While they are not as discreet as people wish, metal braces are an effective tool for straightening teeth. The procedure works by placing a metal bracket onto the surface of each tooth and running a wire through those brackets. It is impossible not to notice when someone is wearing traditional metal braces. While the treatment works, it can also negatively impact a persons' appearance while doing so. This has led many people to seek out a better option, one that we provide.
At Dentistry on Park, LLC, we offer clear alternatives for adults and teens the greater Stoughton area. We can straighten teeth and move them into the perfect position so the patient has a beautiful and radiant straight smile. If you have crooked teeth, unsightly gaps between your teeth or a misaligned bite, then we can help to correct these issues and more. Clear braces work just as effectively as metal braces but with some major improvements. Clear braces are much more difficult to notice, making them ideal for busy professionals, teens and those that do not want to negatively impact their current appearance during the process.
There are several types of clear and barely visible options to choose. One operates similarly to traditional metal braces where we place a bracket onto each tooth and thread a wire between the brackets. The difference is that instead of being made out of metal, the brackets for clear braces consists of a tooth-colored resin that blends in with the natural tooth. The wire is also tooth-colored so that the braces themselves are almost invisible and difficult to see. We find that this solution works well for teens and adults that are able to practice proper dental hygiene with the clear braces. Otherwise, food can stain the brackets. This solution is an excellent alternative to traditional braces and is just as effective at addressing all oral health concerns.
Clear braces also come in the form of aligners. Clear aligners look like a full retainer that surrounds the teeth and are worn on the upper and lower teeth. Aligners are more convenient to wear than metal braces since patients can remove them when necessary. One of the major concerns that people have with wearing braces is that they do not come off until the treatment is complete. If, for example, you get braces then decide to get married, you will either have braces in your wedding pictures or need to pay to remove them and reinstall them after. Simultaneously, if you have a big presentation at work and want to impress a client, your braces cannot come off for the meeting. This leaves many adults apprehensive about committing to a two-year treatment plan. We understand that appearance is important for more than vanity. It impacts your ability to create a professional image and retain your own self-image. I give Dentistry on Park a 5 stars, because they are exceptional with the services that they offer. I love the fact that they follow up with me and my needs are always met. Friendly and clean atmosphere and the music is great :-). If you're ever in Stoughton check them out you won't regret you did!!! Big shout out to Sheryl and Dr D!!

This place is awesome!! The staff is very nice, welcoming and always do a great job. I always feel comfortable getting my twice a year cleanings by Cheryl. She's the best!!! Also, Maryam has done quite a bit of dental work on me and my wife. She is a magician. She is honest and professional. She is not your average Dentist, she uses state of the art equipment and trust me, your teeth will look beautiful when she is done! Can't say enough about this place. A+

A friend referred me to see Dr. Douraghy at Dentistry on Park. Dr. Douraghy and her staff are very passionate about their work, and they truly show how much they care for every patient that comes through that door. I just started going to Dr Douraghy. I have never felt so welcome as a patient by her and her staff. It's a different experience. My last visit Dr Douraghy helped me through a procedure that was hard for me and she was so caring and I thank her for that. More visits to come but I know I'm in good hands.

TL;DR The best dental experience I have ever had in 30+ years The ratings don't lie. When I moved to the Stoughton area, I was badly in need of dental work. As a disabled veteran, I finally had dental insurance for the first time since leaving the military and I had not been to a dentist in over five years. I chose DoP because of the rave reviews and the fact that people mentioned they are very non-judgemental. I think most of us have an aversion to the dentist, and it can leave us feeling pretty shameful when our mouth needs a lot of work (whether or not through negligence). Let me tell you, boy did I make the right decision. The ladies at DoP are the best dental office I have ever dealt with. I actually looked forward to seeing them, catching up, and making progress towards getting my mouth back to square one. Let me break down my experience for those that appreciate more detail: Dr. Douraghy Not once did she make me feel embarrassed about the state of my mouth. She was kind and understanding. My very first appointment, she was able to look in my mouth and immediately point out previous work I had done, even pointing out where previous dentists had done a good job and where needed more work. She was able to formulate a treatment plan and was optimistic about getting me back to a place where I only needed maintenance. She was always conservative in her treatment plan. There were several teeth that possibly needed crowns, but she would always approach it as a filling first (and always let me know ahead of time) and only after cleaning it up would assess if it needed to be a crown instead. She never did anything without explaining to me first and asking my permission. I also like to ask lots of questions so I understand what is happening in my mouth, which may be annoying, but not once did she ever seem unwilling to pause and explain things. At one point, I needed a referral to a periodontist for surgery, and the doctor she referred me to happened to be the #1 rated periodontist in the greater Boston area, so that was a pleasant surprise (surgery went great by the way). Cheryl The other half of the dynamic duo. Cheryl might quite possibly be the sweetest person you will ever meet. She took care of all my cleanings in-between the heavy dental stuff. She is always friendly, genuinely excited to see you, and happy to report on the progress happening in your mouth. She is gentle when cleaning and the appointments always go by very fast and painlessly. Cheryl also takes care of a lot of the billing-related stuff, so was always working with me to maximize my insurance benefits and minimize the out-of-pocket costs. This included delaying some procedures when there was low-risk of adverse outcomes so that I could have it done on my new plan year (and save money). Speaking of which, I maxed out two plan-years worth of dental benefits while a patient there, so that's a testament to how much work I've had done by them. They also take Covid very seriously (as you would hope). I actually got Covid once while a current patient and had to cancel an appointment last second. They were super flexible in getting me in once healthy so that there wasn't a long delay in receiving my treatment. They also encouraged me to take an extra week longer than the CDC recommendations (I think it was 10 days at the time), just to play it safe. I see that as a good thing, as due to the nature of their jobs, they really don't want to risk catching it themselves. Cheryl also checked in on me at one point just to see how I was doing :) Funny enough, I'm not even a patient of theirs anymore- I had to move cross-country for work. So please take this mini-essay as proof of their excellence; I get no benefit out of it other than helping others like myself. You will not regret trusting Dr. Douraghy and Cheryl with your dental needs- you will receive a superb service and you might just make some friends along the way!

I love everything about my trips to Dentistry On Park. I've never felt more confident that my teeth were receiving the absolute best possible care. Dr. Douraghy is a graceful wizard of her trade. Kind, gentle, fair but most important a consummate professional and an encyclopedia of dental knowledge. I wouldn't want my teeth treated by anyone else. And it's not just Dr. Douraghy, Cheryl and Donna seal the deal on having a great experience. It's also always a treat to see Dr. Mehregan in the office. Not only is he as handsome as they come he provides a another great range of expertise to the office, truly making Dentistry on Park able to address any dental need I may have. Would definitely recommend.

I have been going to Dr Douraghy for several years since she took over the practice of Dr Disharoon. I have been going to this practice for about 15 years. Dr Douraghy is an excellent dentist and is kind and compassionate. She and Cheryl are both terrific. I feel like they're friends and I would not hesitate to recommend this practice to anyone.

Five stars!!!! No way This dentistry is at least a Ten Star establishment. I don't know about you, what I do know the number of dentist I have tried, I have left as I never felt comfortable and always had discomfort with procedures. Dr. Douraghy and her team of Donna, Cheryl and Jane deliver kind, painless and professionalism to You.
