During these years, he was given the opportunity to shadow his family dentist and mentor.He learned how the combination of a medical background and fine motor skills could help patients feel confident and safe as they pursue oral health. Equally as important, he saw how an outgoing personality and genuine concern for a patient could help ease the fears surrounding dental care.
After deciding dentistry was the perfect profession for him, Dr. Turner attended the Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry.He received extensive practice performing both routine and complex dental procedures. His skill and dedication were recognized by his professors in his senior year when he was inducted into the dental honors fraternity OKU. Dr. Turner chose to continue his education by attending a residency program for General Dentistry, where he learned more advanced techniques to increase the quality of his work and maximize patient comfort.
Dr. Turner then entered private practice with his mentor and grew there for 4 years. He continued to pursue high-level training in dental implants, Invisalign, and exciting new techniques in restorative and cosmetic dentistry.
In deciding to open his own practice, Dr. Turner finally listened to his wife Melissa (originally from Florida) and agreed to move south. They visited Charlotte in the summer of 2017 and instantly fell in love with the area. They decided to build their future in this incredible city. Dr. Turner could not be more excited to share his passion for quality, beautiful, long-lasting dentistry with the people of Charlotte, his new home.
Dr. Turner enjoys traveling, scuba diving, skiing, and playing guitar when not in the dental office in Oakhurst, Charlotte, NC. He is also a skilled cook and baker and is always looking to experiment with new recipes.

One of my greatest fears has been going to the dentist. Dr Eric Turner is The Best Dentist. The staff is AWESOME!!! I had a procedure that many others that I know experienced pain after the procedure. My pain was ZERO!!! STATE OF THE ART OFFICE!!! You cant go wrong because Dentistry On Monroe Is The Way To Go!!! The staff did an outstanding job receiving me for a walk in. The fixed my situation with finesse!!!

Dr. Turner is without a doubt the best dentist I have ever been to. He took the time to educate me about my teeth in a way that helped me understand why certain parts of my dental care are more or less important than others and how I can keep my teeth healthy and it was all personalized to me. He did a very thorough exam, explained what he was doing and why he was doing it, and kept me at ease. The dental cleaning was thorough and the dental hygienist was professional and personable. The office is modern and gorgeous (I only got a picture of the waiting room because I loved all of the fall-themed decor but the rest of the office also looked new and very nice). Dr. Turner clearly cares about his patients and his profession, and loves educating which made for the best dental experience I've ever day, I can't recommend this place enough!!!

Overall one of the best dentist experiences. The process of getting an appointment was easy, filling out paperwork was electronic and the visit was very professional. I was in and out in less time than expected. The staff and Dentist are professional and easy to interact with during the visit. Also I was impressed with the newer technology and cleanliness of the practice.

Had an emergency with a permanent retainer breaking, called the office to see I'd they even fix those issues. Yes, and they got me in an hour later, and it was a fast and pleasant experience start to finish! Decided to switch to this office for my regular visits now.

My daughter and I had our first appointments at this wonderful practice. Dr. Turner is so informative and actually spends time helping his patients understand what's happening in our mouths. I can't recommend this office enough. I'm glad I took the recommendation of a friend and found a new dentist.

Dr.Turner is very nice and personable. Great bed side manner and down to earth. He took the time to explain general dentistry to me, what i should be doing and what to looking out for. I would definitely recommend him to anyone. I'm glad I happened to get gas across from his office one day.
