What began as a single, general dentistry practice in 1992 has grown into 13 general and orthodontic offices in and around Charlotte that provide excellent, accessible, and affordable care to patients. After years practicing, mentoring, growing and shaping Dentistry of the Carolinas, our founder Dr. John Walsh has transitioned to a new phase of life where he is enjoying time with family and is favorite hobbies. We dont call it retirement because for all who know Dr. Walsh understand that word is not in his vocabulary. Dont be surprised to see Dr. Walsh at any of our offices tinkering with a project or fine tuning some dental equipment. He will always be part of the DOC family.
Tooth fairies collect teeth from underneath pillows each night and bring them back to Tooth Fairy Land. They plant these little teeth in a Tooth Garden to sprout new baby teeth. One tooth grew a bit too big to be a baby tooth, this was Flossy. The Fairies didnt know what to do with Flossy until they decided that he would be sent to the human world full time to teach kids how important it was to take care of their teeth.
Trees do not grow gumdrops Sour Patch Kids are not found on playgrounds Most importantly, you could NEVER get cavities in Tooth Fairy Land like you can in the human world if you dont take care of your teeth!
Flossy loves sweets and candy and cookies and especially Surfer Cooler flavored Capri-Suns. He used to surf the molasses ocean in Tooth Fairy Land, it moved very, very slowly which was perfect for him because hes kind of big and slow himself!

Dr H and the whole staff were amazing..I had to have a lot of oral surgery done to get dentures ..they explained everything in detail and were very receptive to my questions..looking for a great place this is it ..thank you Dentistry of the Carolinas 5 all the way

Love this place!!! Feels like I'm going in to catch up with friends not for dental care. Crystal is always a pleasure to see. Dee is the bestest Dr. H is great, Ladies at the front are always kind. Just all around great staff, and good at their craft!!! Everyone is friendly. Highly recommend y'all!

love this place . I had a filling that came out over the weekend . Dr. H helped to fix my tooth by placing a new filling in it . Dr. H is Amazing and the staff is so very helpful. My visit was the most pleasant experience that I've had . I'd give them 10 Stars ....also their music is great to listen to while getting worked on.

I strongly dislike going to the dentist but DeeDee always makes it such an amazing and enjoyable experience and she actually makes me look forward to my twice a year cleanings. The office staff is always friendly and Dr. H is as well.

Front office assistant is extremely rude (the reason I quit going, I don't pay people to be rude to me). They apparently never know their own prices and after every visit would contact me to say I owed 15$more than they had thought--I have never seen this happen anywhere ever. Called from a new dentist office to get X-rays sent over, and wouldn't you know it-- they said once again I had yet another 15$ outstanding fee and they couldn't release my info until it was paid.

Every experience I had at Dentistry of the Carolinas-Statesville has been exceptional. The office waiting area is clean and the patient rooms are spotless plus state of the art equipment. The staff is first rate. They always make me feel welcome. The staff greets me warmly and is professional and very courteous. Dr. Hamasagar is professional, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable. Dr. Hamasagar works vary hard at making sure all my dental needs are met in a timely manner while putting me in as little discomfort as possible. Dr. Hamasagar is a great dentist. This dental office is first rate top to bottom. I highly recommend Dentistry of the Carolinas - Statesville.
